The African penguin's natural habitat is to live on islands off the Coast of South Africa. Today there are over 3,000 penguins living at Boulders. There are some viewing platforms that will allow you to get close to the penguins.
Today, Hills of Africa Travel will pick you up from your hotel for a day packed full of adrenaline on your great white shark diving trip. The main focus of this tour is a natural interaction with the sharks, and Apex Tours makes every effort to treat these animals with the respect they deserve and at the same time try to share their passion with you.
Thereafter a spot is chosen to anchor to attract sharks to the vessel. Once a shark approaches, a small bait is put in the water to keep the sharks interested around the boat for identification and viewing purposes. If the weather conditions are favorable, the cage is lowered into the water for cage diving. Great white sharks are completely wild animals and as such sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Today you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Cape Town Airport (CPT) where you will be assisted to check in for your domestic flight to Johannesburg (this flight is not included in itinerary price). Today, you will take a charter flight to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport (MQP) for approximately a 20-minute flight. The time for this flight will be confirmed with you the night before. On arrival, you will be helped to transfer to the main airport terminal where you will check in and connect with your onward commercial flight to Livingstone in Zambia on the border of Zimbabwe / Victoria Falls (this international flight is not included in the itinerary price). You will then meet your guide as you enter the arrivals hall and transfer to your hotel in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

These tours of the Victoria Falls are extremely informative and will be ended with a visit to the local art and crafts center.
Today is a day of excitement and being in the middle of the Zambezi River. This morning, you will be collected from your hotel for an adventure in white water rafting. The wildest white water rafting in the world is on the Zambezi river at Victoria Falls. White Water Rafting on the Zambezi River is judged to be among the finest in the world, and this will be a day you will cherish for the rest of your life. The rapids are run in large rubber rafts, launched from just below Victoria Falls. You can do a half day trip, full day or multi day. This afternoon, you will be treated to a helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls. Each seat in the aircraft is next to a window and offers unsurpassed views of the spectacular scenery below. This 15-minute flight will give you an aerial view of Victoria Falls.
This morning, your Hills of Africa Travel representative will transfer you to the Wallow, a sanctuary for elephants. Here, you will begin your day with an elephant back safari. This safari is not just a ride on the largest animal in Africa, it's an unforgettable experience where you will get to interact with the elephants as well as enjoy a ride through wilderness areas and beautiful scenery.
Each of the elephants was orphaned at a very young age, and would have died if not saved by this program. The elephants have been given a second chance at life and you will get to enjoy it. They take 2 daily walks through the national park, which is an integral part of their day. Game viewing from the back of an elephant is very different from the seat in a vehicle. The animals that you encounter see the elephant, and not you, the animals will react the way they would react to another animal in the bush, not a human.
Whilst on the ride, you may see other wild elephant as well as buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and a host of other plains game. Along the Zambezi River, hippo and crocodile are common and there is a wide variety of bird species. Each elephant has its own handler and you will leave having witnessed the elephant's incredible skills, intelligence and willingness to respond to instruction.
After this unique experience, you will be transferred back to your hotel to freshen up and prepare for your afternoon flights home. You will be picked up from the hotel and driven to the Victoria Falls Airport (VFA). You will then check in for your international flights back home.
During your safari, you will visit Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Sabi Sands Game Reserve in South Africa as well as a visit to Victoria Falls in Zimabwe.
"We had the most amazing time and everything was so perfect. Thank you so much. All of our travels went smoothly and everyone was so nice and interesting and engaging. We cried (at least I did) when we left Elephant Camp because we loved everyone so much! We were told by a lot of people that the food would be amazing. Wow, every meal was spectacular! I could go on and on. Thank you! Thank you!"

"The entire trip was life changing. Visiting the chimps in Mahale, seeing the crossing in the Serengeti, and there is a long list that goes on from there. This was our second trip with Hills of Africa Travel, and the first one was so good. There was no one else we would trust with a vacation like the one we just returned from."
