World Heritage listed Fraser Island, Australia, is a remarkable natural beauty that has been developing for over 800,000 years. Showcasing spectacular eroded sculptures of iron-rich colored sands, over 40 rare freshwater lakes, each its own unique shape and color, towering rainforests dating back 1,000 years, the world’s only rainforest growing in sand, crystal clear creeks, swampy wetlands, heathlands bright with wildflowers and sweeping beaches lined with Pandanus palms.
