My wife & I stayed here 12th april,we drove from Johannesburg, after arriving from Scotland.was pretty easy to find.big mistake we made was not hiring a jeep! As the road leading into the lodge is very rocky.check inn was fine.we had a balcony, lovely views.room was spacious with en suite. The food was fine & breakfast to.The service was exceptional.staff couldn't do enough for you.We did an early morning excursion into the Kruger, amazing ! Our guide was Hopewell,he was very knowlageable, managed to find us lion, cheetah, buffalo, elephant, baboons, impala, giraffe e.t.c. superb day.we also seen a lot of animals while out walking round the lodge complex.overall great few days here, will be back!!

We had a bungalow with two beds one upstairs and downstairs with two bathrooms. Not really privacy if you go as two pairs because upstairs was no door it was open space. But perfect for families and groups who don't need so much privacy. The bungalow self was great, clean and the beds a comfortable. We had one day with hot water no problem for the stuff, they fixed it in minutes. We had half board. The breakfast was enough choices for people who don't expect a club hotel with 20m buffet choices. They is bread, cakes, flakes, meat, cheese, jam, warm stuff like scrambled eggs, bacon and other stuff. Juices and coffee more then enough. The evening buffet was top. The soup is great, you have some starters and 2 to 3 main meal choices ( different meats and one fish option) plus veggies and rice or potatoes. Don't expect a 20m buffet again und you will be fine. Everyone finds something he likes. The stuff is very helpful and very friendly. We had to learn a lots of names :) you can book transfers to the grand kruger park like game drive or bush walks. There were amazing. Around your bungalow you see also some animals like monkeys or deers etc. We enjoyed our stay! And would come back!

Great staff! They were super friendly and greeting you by name. It was practically a 1-1 staff to guest ratio and they treated us like royalty. The food was phenomenal, we didn't go hungry! It's a five star resort mixed with the remoteness of the bush which we loved. We had wonderful spa day with the grand spa treatment. The 8 hour game drive was really wonderful. We only had 5 people so it was much easier to see things. (Seated 9) We also did the 4 hour night tour. We saw a lot of animals but we did not enjoy it as much because it was operated by a company other than the Lodge and the safari vehicle was extremely big (about 20 seats) and we couldn't hear anything the driver said nor could we see very well. Otherwise, phenomenal Resort. We wished we could have stayed longer.
