Kibo Safari Camp lies within the Amboseli National Reserve with splendid views of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. Amboseli, meaning “salty dust” in Maa, the language of the Maasai, is a place of stark contrast. The park provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling savannah scenery the park is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Lake Naivasha Lodge is set in one hundred and fifty acres of grassland studded with acacia bushes and trees, the resort is not only home to the resident giraffe, waterbuck, and both Vervet and Colobus monkeys but it is also a night stop for the hippos when they leave the lake every night to come and trim the grass on the expansive lawns.
The Lake Nakuru Lodge is situated in a wonderland which lies in the heart of one of Kenya’s parks (Ramsar site), only two hours leisurely drive on first class roads from Nairobi, through some of the most exciting scenery to be seen anywhere in Africa.
Safari leaves from Nairobi to spend two nights at Amboseli, which is located in the shadows of Mount Kilimanjaro. Tour then progresses to Lake Naivasha, where you will spend a night and enjoy a discovery boat ride and nature walks. You shall also visit the Hell’s Gate National Park on a short hike and bicycle ride that brings you closer to nature.
The next stop is Lake Nakuru National Park, a world-famous bird haven. The world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve is the last stop, with three nights and days of extensive wildlife viewing on rewarding game drives in search of big five and more. During this safari holiday, your transport will be in an open top safari tour minivans.
You shall be collected from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) at 7:00 a.m. The morning drive is via the Nairobi-Mombasa highway. The scenic drive is through open Africa with expansive savannah plains dotted with local homesteads and colorful Maasai tribes’ men and their cattle. Early morning, you will go on game viewing drive as you exit the Amboseli National Park. Proceed to Lake Naivasha at the floors of the Great Rift Valley. In the afternoon, you will go on a boat ride, viewing exotic birdlife and hippos amid the serenity of this freshwater Rift Valley Lake. You will stay overnight at Lake Naivasha Lodge, a tented camp resort. Today’s meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The day starts with a nature bird walk in scenic settings at the lake shores. Take a bicycle and cycle to the nearby Hell’s Gate National Park, where you explore on foot this canyon as you spot small game. Later, with a short one-hour drive will take you to the Lake Nakuru National Park. You will stay overnight at a Lake Nakuru safari lodge, a tented camp. Today’s meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
An early bird and game viewing drive as you exit the Lake Nakuru National Park. You will proceed to the Maasai Mara game reserve and arrive in the mid afternoon. Afterwards, make your way on an afternoon game viewing drive. You will stay overnight at Maasai Mara Sopa Lodge or AA Lodge. Today’s meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza! Maasai Mara Game Reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. You will stay overnight at Maasai Mara Sopa Lodge or AA Lodge. You will start your day with an early pre-breakfast game viewing drive. You will then depart Maasai Mara with an exit game viewing drive. Afterwards, you will proceed to Nairobi and arrive in the late afternoon.
