During this 10 days of safari, you will sleep at Mann Peace Of Mind Lodges for one night, Twiga Campsite for six nights, and Seronera Campsite for two nights.


Arrival day

On your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your guide will be there ready to welcome you to Tanzania and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha.

Day 1: Arusha National Park

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive you to Arusha National Park with your lunch box for a full day game drive. The park is at the base of Mount Meru which is good for climbing forest-home of the black and white colobus monkeys and excellent for birding.

Other animal viewings are the buffalos, giraffes, and several biggest antelopes. ‎Also, several lakes often host a flock of flamingos. In the evening, you will drive back to your lodge in Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Discover the Tarangire

After breakfast, you set off on a safari to Tarangire National Park with lunch boxes (approximately120 kilometers). Named after the river that nourishes the wildlife of a vast ecosystem, Tarangire is home to elephants, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, buffalos, elands, waterbucks, lions, giraffes, oryxes, and an unsurpassed diversity of birds.

From June to November, masses of wildlife congregate around the river but the park is a stronghold for big game year-round. You will have a full day game drive and in the evening, you will go to your campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara

After breakfast, you depart to Lake Manyara National Park (approximately 90 kilometers) with en-route views. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, a beautiful park, Lake Manyara contains a diverse range of habitats and topographical features ranging from the rift wall, ground water forest, acacia woodlands, and open grasslands to the shores of Lake Manyara and the lake itself.

Have afternoon game viewing in the park searching for the diverse flora and fauna of the park. There are some 350 different bird species in the park. The park provides sanctuary to a variety of animals such as the gazelles, impalas, buffalos, wildebeests, hyenas, baboons, giraffes, hippos, and the famous tree-climbing lions that are unique to the lake. The park is generally recognized for its incredible beauty.

Day 4: Cultural tourism in Mto Wa Mbu

After breakfast, you will go for a full day cultural tourism in Mto Wa Mbu area. Mto Wa Mbu is situated on the way from Arusha to the national parks in northern Tanzania, just at the foot of the Rift Valley. Mto Wa Mbu is the entry port to Lake Manyara National Park and on the way to Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti which makes it an ideal rest place for most safari travelers. Some of the activities that you will do are a visit to a traditional Maasai village, local market tour, and cycling expedition through remote areas.

Day 5: Drive to Serengeti

After breakfast, you will drive towards Serengeti via Ngorongoro. Game and nature view on the way. You visit the Olduvai Gorge which is an important archaeological site. Lunch will be served in the bush today. Enjoy a short game drive in Serengeti as you drive to your campsite for dinner and overnight rest to get ready for tomorrow adventure.

Day 6: Tracing the big five in Serengeti and migration

Today, you enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing drives on the vast Serengeti plains. In the early morning and evening light, the Serengeti landscape is stunningly beautiful. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, including more than three million large mammals. The park is one that can never disappoint. One is spoilt by the variety of bird and wildlife species in this game reserve.

Depending on wildlife movement at different times, you may be served a picnic lunch at a picnic site or take a hot lunch from your lodge. You will also spend the day following the great migration of about one and a half million wildebeests and 500,000 zebras migrating through the Serengeti ecosystem. Dangers are everywhere and packs of lions, cheetahs, and other carnivores are everywhere waiting for the right moment to strike.

Crocodiles in Serengeti river does no mercy as the herds cross the river. Thousands are swept by the arrogant waters and the scenes are amazing. Later in the early evening, you will drive to your campsite for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

You will enjoy another morning game drive in Serengeti. Drive back to the camp for breakfast and check out before starting your journey to Ngorongoro. You will arrive at the crater rim lodge to a warm welcome, check in, and then have lunch. This afternoon, relax and enjoy the breathtaking and spectacular views of the Ngorongoro scenery, the largest unbroken caldera in the world. Have dinner and overnight at your game lodge.

Day 8: African garden of Eden

Descend into the crater (600 meters) for an in-depth exploration of this distinctive ecosystem. Enjoy abundant wildlife viewing set against the impressive backdrop of the Ngorongoro Crater, the heart of the conservation area. These drives provide one of the best opportunities in Africa to view the rare black rhinos, which tend to spend their time on the crater floor.

Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles; its magical setting and abundant wildlife never fail to enthrall visitors. For lunch, enjoy a picnic next to the hippo pools on the crater floor. Continue with the game drive throughout the various ecosystems of the crater, including woodland filled with zebras and baboons, plains that support scavenging hyenas and a lake that is tinted pink with greater and lesser flamingos.

Other game that you can see includes leopards, cheetahs, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals. In the afternoon, ascend and drive back to your lodge for overnight rest.

Day 9: Lake Eyasi

You will be taken to a rarely visited, isolated landscape. After a dusty drive, you will enjoy a beautiful view of the Great Rift Valley and Lake Eyasi.

Although this area is isolated and rarely visited, it is located close to the route leading to some of Northern Tanzania’s most popular national parks. It offers an exclusive destination with awesome scenery. You also get a chance to visit the Hadzabe'e, one of the last click-speaking hunter-gatherer tribes.

A beautiful tented camp on the shore of Lake Eyasi will offer a luxurious accommodation under canvas. Major attractions of the spot include meeting with the Hadzabe'e hunter-gatherer tribe, swimming, strolling, and birdwatching. Full-board accommodation will be provided today.

Day 10: End of the tour (Arusha)

After breakfast, you will drive back to Arusha for a rest and get ready for your next plan. Afterwad, you will be transferred to the airport.
