Nipun was an excellent host and the food very good. The campsite is near a pleasant lake with quite a lot of birdlife.

The camping was what it said it was and the bird life round the camping area was excellent. Nice to get away from hotel and experience rural Sri Lanka.

The all day Safari

It was a amazing trip, where we were well taking care of. The glamping Ceylon Camp was an amazing location up close to nature and away from traffic and tourists. Nipun our guide, was helpful, kind and a great host. He was very informative, not only about the nature and Safari, but about everything that is going on in Sri Lanka. We had a great Safari as well an enjoyed the trip very much!!!

Nipun - owner/guide/driver. He went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. He gave us advice about what else we should see in Sri Lanka and answered all of our random questions about Sri Lankas history. He even drove to the shops to get us beer after a long drive!

Property - the location is beautiful, peaceful and so relaxing! Sitting by the lake at sunset was amazing

Food - the chef prepared some of the best Sri Lankan meals we had during our 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. Dinners (and one breakfast) under the stars were lovely

Ecovillage - I didn't realise that this was an ecovillage until we arrived. I was so impressed that the whole place is run with solar electricity

Safari - we saw a leopard, herds of wild elephants, antelope, wild boars, buffalo, lots of birds and many other wild animals

Nipun war ein perfecter Tourgide und Gastgeber. Die Safari war super und ein voller Erfolg. Ebenfalls sind wir sehr gut verpflegt worden. Sehr zu empfehlen und immer wieder gern.

Nipun hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben. Er hat uns in Mirissa abgeholt, ins Camp gebracht, am nächsten Tag eine Safari mit einem Jeep nur für uns zwei organisiert. Nach der Safari hat er uns auch weiter nach Ella gefahren. Das essen war ausgezeichnet (Koch arbeitete im Hilton auf den Malediven). Mehrere Gänge mit Dessert. Auf der Safari haben wir alles was wir sehen wollten, gesehen. Unter anderem den seltenenen Leoparden, Elefanten etc. Am Abend wird Bier bei einem Lagerfeuer serviert.
