This was my third safari with Gamewatchers. And my review is the same again. Perfect. I believe this is one of the most authentic safaris you can do in Kenya. Camps are very small, with limited occupancy. They are situated on Masai conservancies, so you know your $$ goes to directly help the community. The camps are staff by warm and friendly Masai people, and all are unfenced. Imagine going to sleep hearing hippos or buffalo snorting behind your tent. Or lions roaring. So amazing. The setting is rustic but the "tents" are comfortable and attractive. The bucket showers are ample and refreshing. Food is terrific from bush breakfasts to lunch outdoors and full course dinner. The soups especially are wonderful. And the drives and guides... Ask and you shall receive. And after a day of viewing beautiful wildlife ad landscapes, how awesome to sit around the campfire and compare sightings! I can't say enough about this organization. Perfectly organized from the moment you touch down in Nairobi. Many thanks to my agent Julie Ruggow (located in Michigan) who plans all my safaris. Can't wait to come back.
