Fisi Camp

With only ten tents, Fisi Camp offers an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The camp is located at one of the best safari game reserves in the world, and all tents boast views out over the great Mara plains from your private veranda.

The small, exclusive, tented camp is set in the natural environment of the African bush, located close to the Oloolaimutia gate. It is a family run camp based on eco-friendly principles, using solar energy for electricity, minimizing waste and conserving natural resources.

The camp is not fenced as they believe that animals have a right to the land which was exclusively theirs before you arrived. The camp provides an authentic bush experience, while their staff are committed to ensuring your safety and comfort during your stay with them. Itinerary

Day 1 - Amboseli

Early morning pick up from your hotel in the morning and drive south through Maasai country to the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated. After a stopover lunch at the lodge / tented camp, enjoy an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge in the evening for a sun downer and dinner.

With the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro (on clear days), spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and various plains' game, you are sure to collect a gallery of amazing pictures.

Day 2 - Amboseli

After a dawn game drive, you return to your accommodation for breakfast. The rest of the morning is spent at leisure or by the swimming pool. Lunch and final game drive in the late afternoon beneath the snowcapped peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

At 329 square kilometers, Amboseli is a small park and lacks the profusion of animal species found in the Mara, but the landscape provides limited cover so you have better chances of seeing some of the larger predators. There is also a small seasonal lake that comes to life after rains with the vibrant shade of pink from flamingoes! You also have the option of visiting a Maasai village to get an understanding of the Maasai way of life and customs.

Day 3 - Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

After an early breakfast, you drive towards the Great Rift Valley making a brief stop at the escarpment to enjoy views of Mount Suswa and Longonot in the far distance.

You arrive at Lake Naivasha in the late afternoon. Enjoy an optional 1-hour boat ride on the lake in search of hippos, pelicans and other bird species. Thereafter, enjoy a cool drink at the bar by the lake side before checking into your accommodation for overnight.

Day 4 - Naivasha to Maasai Mara

After an early breakfast, you visit nearby Hells Gate National Park for you to enjoy an optional activity; cycling in the park. You may hire the bikes from the park gate and enjoy cycling among the zebras and giraffes. For the more adventurous, there is the option of enjoying rock climbing the “Fischers tower” accessible for even the most basic of rock climbers.

Thereafter, depart towards Narok town and Maasai Mara, arriving at the reserve in the late afternoon.

Day 5 - Maasai Mara

Full day game drive with packed lunches exploring the Maasai Mara. Game drives in the Mara are rewarding all year round and you are likely to come across a pride of lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and various other plains herbivores.

In the interlude between game drives, there is the option to visit a Maasai village to understand their way of life and customs. Dinner and overnight back at the tented camp.

Day 6 - Nairobi

Early breakfast before departing back towards Nairobi. Before departure, there is the option to enjoy a nature walk in the company of a Maasai safari guide. This is the best way of getting closer to nature and its wildlife.

Your safari guide, armed with traditional Maasai spear and club, will walk you through the local area where all your senses will be put into action at every step. Smell the plants used in traditional medicines, taste some of the edible wild fruits, listen to the birds and the grunting of the Impala.

Alternatively, make a visit to an authentic Maasai village to learn about the Maasai culture and way of life before you travel back up the escarpment back towards Nairobi arriving in the late afternoon. Drop off back at your accommodation. End of services.

The tour begins with a drive down South to Amboseli National Park for a chance to see elephants up close against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro before you descend the Rift Valley to the scenic Lake Naivasha to enjoy a boat ride in search of hippos, crocodiles and pelicans. The rest of the tour will be spent in the Masai Mara in search of the Big Five.

Hells Gate National Park

Hells Gate National Park near Lake Naivasha provides the ideal fun in the wild experience across all markets and ages. Here, you can cycle among zebra, eland, giraffe, hartebeest and Thomson’s gazelle.

Maasai Mara

Maasai Mara is one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing eco-system.
