Welcome to Uganda, “Tusanyuse okukulaba” meaning "we are happy to see you". Depending on your arrival time, the company representative will meet and pick you up and proceed to the desired activity. Depending on your time of arrival, you will check in, have lunch and proceed with a tour of Entebbe town including the botanical gardens located on the shores of Lake Victoria. You will encounter lots of monkeys and birds of different species as you enjoy the cool breeze. Later proceed to imperial resort beach where you will enjoy the evening walking on the white sand beach with a cold drink immediately after a welcoming relaxing full body spa/massage.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls + Ziwa rhino tracking + yoga

After a hearty breakfast, you drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. This is a 3-hour drive. It is the perfect time to get to know your fellow yogis and interact with your instructor.

After Rhino tracking you drive to your accommodation in Murchison Falls National Park for an overnight. After settling into your rooms, you gather for a restorative yoga session that is approximately one hour long.

Day 3: Full-day Murchison Falls experience + yoga

Have an early morning game drive in the park to spot animals hunting for their breakfast. Have a hearty breakfast and relax at the lodge. In the afternoon you go for a boat trip on the Victoria Nile that takes you to the bottom of the falls.

You will meet again for sunset yoga followed by silent meditation under the stars ending the day with a nutritious dinner.

Discover and make room for yourself on your mat as the sun begins to drop over the Nile River. You will be able to delve inward and become more familiar with your body as you link your breath to nature and connect with it tonight as you participate in the therapeutic motions.

Day 4: Yoga + transfer to Lira + evening yoga

You start the day with yet another beautiful sunrise yoga session. After breakfast, you check out of the lodge. Have a lazy game drive on your way out of the national park as you drive towards Lira. Lira is the largest town in northern Uganda. You stop by a local restaurant for a Northern Uganda cuisine experience.

Later you drive to your hotel for the overnight. At sunset, you meet again for another yoga session. Later, you have a buffet for dinner.

Day 5: Sipi Falls + evening yoga

After breakfast you drive to Sipi Falls the beautiful landscape right at the foot of Mount Elgon. The area is excluded thus the perfect place for silent meditation and reflection. Have a healthy lunch at the lodge. Later you make a walk to visit the Three Waterfalls that make the area so popular. You will meet for an evening yoga session and later you come together for a feast.

Day 6: Yoga + Source of the Nile

You start the day with another beautiful sunrise yoga session. After a relaxed breakfast, you drive to Jinja town, home to the source of the Nile. In the afternoon you take a boat to visit the source of the Nile. You retire at the lodge to dress up for dinner at Jinja Sailing Club, a fancy restaurant right at Lake Victoria’s shore.

Day 7: Yoga, Jinja City tour, and Kampala

On today’s itinerary, you’ll start the day with some yoga at a tranquil spot by the Nile. After breakfast, you’ll go for a half-day white water rafting trip. Later, you’ll head to Kampala for the night, where you’ll explore the city’s nightlife.

Day 8: Transfer to Kibale and afternoon nature walk with yoga

After breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest National Park. It’s a long drive, so prepare for it. After arriving at your next lodge, you will spend the afternoon connecting with each other in a yoga class that consists of beautifully chosen partner asanas. Moving is beautiful, but moving together even more. Before you head over to the dinner table, you are invited to sink in again and reflect on the last few days, all the new experiences and impressions you sucked in. Your yoga teacher will help you travel through body and mind using the power of your breath. Enjoy the rest of the evening before dinner.

Day 9: Chimpanzee trekking adventure

Do you like to take walks and look at beautiful views? Today is the day to do just that before observing chimpanzees in the afternoon. You’ll move your bodies and stretch them, flowing through movements with your own rhythm of the breath. You’ll communicate with each other, and if you’re feeling tired or want to relax, your yoga teacher will adjust the class for you.

The crater lakes are deep blue, and they’re beautiful gateways to something that’s unknown. They’re silent and peaceful, and you’ll be looking at them from the comfort of your seats. But there’s more to them than just looking. You can use them as a source of silence and peace, and you can explore where that comes from. So let’s get up and take a walk! Namaste.

You will have lunch at the lodge and later drive to the park headquarters for your fascinating chimpanzee trekking experience before a transfer to the homestay where you will spend the day at.

Day 10: Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha

Today, you will embark on a transfer to the Bwindi area for the rewarding gorilla trekking via the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth. You will arrive in time for lunch in the sector followed by a game drive in Ishasha in search of tree-climbing lions and other wild game whose chance of seeing them will highly depend on your luck of the day before proceeding to Bwindi.

Day 11: Gorilla trekking and evening yoga

You will have breakfast and then drive to the park headquarters by 7 a.m. for a briefing about your gorilla trekking experience. Then set off for this remarkable experience of searching for the famous mountain gorillas. The activity takes 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in the jungle, however, the thrill of encountering these humble and gentle giants erases the memories you went through while finding them. While looking out for the gorillas expect to meet a few other forest species such as monkeys, forest elephants, duikers, birds, and more. You will then check out of Bwindi to drive to Lake Bunyonyi for late check-in and dinner at the lodge.

Day 12: Lake Bunyonyi + yoga

On this day, you’ll be focusing on your body and soul. You’ll start the day with some simple yoga poses to wake up your body, and then you’ll have the opportunity to explore acrobatics in yoga. Later in the day, you’ll learn how to trust and connect with others through different exercises. All levels are welcome, and the day will culminate with a Thai massage. Use this day to take care of yourself and follow your own needs. There are facilities in the lodge to relax and take a break from traveling and exploring. You’re invited to take part in an afternoon yoga class as well before you embark on a relaxing boat ride and dinner together.

Day 13: Morning yoga + transfer to Kampala/Entebbe

You will have a morning last yoga session before a relaxed breakfast, then you may opt to enjoy a swim in the lake before you set off on the journey to Entebbe via Mbarara and settle at Igongo Cultural Center for lunch (traditional dishes) but also you will have the option to visit the cultural museum here and embark on your drive to Kampala. You can make an en route at the Equator for more photos and pass through the gift shops to secure yourself memorabilia as a commemoration of your gorilla and wildlife safari in Uganda.
