Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After having breakfast at the lodge, you will leave early to Tarangire National park. It is the third largest park in Tanzania and characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered. The Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of it.

Tarangire River that flows all year round is the lifeblood of the park. Many animals, predators and their preys, gather around the river and you can do excellent game viewings. After the game, you will be back to your lodge to prepare a 2-hour walking tour with the rangers. You will stay overnight at Panorama Lodge.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

The breakfast will be at 06:00. You will be picked up from the camp at 07:00 while bringing packed picnic lunch and drive to Serengeti National Park. You will enjoy game drives en route via Ngorongoro Crater rim.

Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous national parks on earth, renowned for its magnificent lions and great migration. It is the home of lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalos, zebras, wildebeest, elands, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, and more. You will also get to know the local Maasai people around lake Manyara. You will stay overnight at Seronera Campsite.

Day 3: Central Serengeti

After having breakfast, you will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park. Since Serengeti is very large, your game drives will depend on the move of the migrants. Your guide knows very well on how to locate the herds. Serengeti National Park is famous for the 'Great Migration' of more than one million wildebeest and two hundred thousand zebras each year.

In October and November, they travel from the mountains of the north southwards to the plains, seeking lush pastures. After the great rainy season in April, May, and June, the herds then make their return journey. Even without this mass migration, Serengeti is still an exciting and spectacular place that will not fail to enthrall. You will have dinner and stay overnight at Seronera Campsite.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti

After having breakfast, you will experience a full game drive following the animal migration at the Northern Serengeti. You can see wildebeests, zebras, topi hartebeests, elands, antelopes, hyenas, and various birds singing on the trees while viewing the beautiful landscape and nature.

Usually, in August and November, the migration reaches its northern range in which the herds cross the grasslands on either bank of the crocodile-infested Mara River twice, as they complete their migration. You will also be able to enjoy the sunset at Serengeti between 18:20 - 18:40 after the game drive before returning and staying overnight at Seronera Campsite.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After having breakfast, you will experience a game viewing in Serengeti for three hours. Then, you will proceed with a game on the route and arrive at Nabi gate to have lunch. You will then proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area to have dinner and stay overnight at Simba Campsite,

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara

On this day, you will start early at 07:00 for a game drive (with a picnic lunch) in the Ngorongoro Crater. As animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 feet high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, and other species.

Your driver / guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. After all the great explorations in Ngorongoro Crater, you will go to Fanaka Safaris Campsite and Lodge to have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 7: Lake Manyara to Arusha

After having breakfast, you will continue the journey to Mto Wa Mbu Village near Lake Manyara. Over the years, the village has attracted people from various ethnic groups. The wide variety of backgrounds and ethnicities in Mto Wa Mbu has created a multicultural atmosphere.

After a short briefing, your guide will take you on a walk through the village and its surroundings. From banana plantations to rice fields, from the local medicine man to the local brewery, from the paint and woodcraft workshop to the local school. The village tour will you an insight into the daily village life. The lunch will be prepared by a communal women's group and served at a local compound. It consists of a wide variety of African dishes, giving you an opportunity to taste the traditional food.

After the wonderful experience, you will visit Lake Manyara National Park. The protected area encloses a large part of the alkaline lake of the same name. This amazing lake is the seasonal home of a giant flamingo colony and many more waterfowls. On the lakeshore, you can also observe elephants, hippopotami, buffalos, guenons, banded mongooses, and numerous types of gazelles and antelopes.

Furthermore, the park is well known for its “tree climbing lions”. Visitors can regularly observe lions taking a nap in the tree canopies or escaping from the heat on the ground. After watching the animals and exploring the national park, you will leave the park in the afternoon and travel to the Kirurumu Manyara Lodge. You will enjoy a wonderful view of the Maasai Plains and the Lake Manyara. Photo stops will be taken and you will be able to enjoy the spectacular views.

This safari will take place in Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Tarangire National Park, Tanzania.

"The communication was very nice and easy, I received quick and clear answers to all my questions before, during, and after the trip! I did 2 days safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro. The first day was perfect: good guide, good food, perfect organization, wonderful park, etc. The second was a bit harder. The only problem I really found was the mismatch between the other people in the group having plenty of time and wanting to enjoy their safari, and me having to take my flight. Except this, everything was fine, nice, and well organized."

"Overall, it was a great experience with Foot Slopes Tours & Safaris. They answered all my questions before the start of safari promptly and provided the service just as promised. Of all the research I did, I found Foot Slopes offered the best package for the time I had. Our driver, Juma, was amazing. He had great knowledge of all the animal and plant species. I went to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. Maybe all the safari operators can think of ways to improve food as some people had stomach issues, but Foot Slopes was great in taking care of people who had any health issues. I totally recommend them. "

"Although I was unable to travel with Foot Slope Tours & Safaris due to a medical issue, the gentlemen in the office, Goodluck and (I've forgotten the other man's name) were amazing. They were helpful, kind, patient, and went so far above and beyond. It was amazing. They spent hours with me, bringing me to the hospital, helping arrange flights home, transporting and supporting me at a very difficult time. I cannot speak highly enough of how much I appreciated their help. They even contacted me after I returned home with kind words and thoughts. I really hope to return, and bring friends to complete this travel experience. I'd give them more stars if it was allowed. Thank you again from New Hampshire! "

"The tour was amazing and we got to see so many amazing animals. We camped in the Serengeti which was fabulous as well as Ngorongoro in which we had a stunning view over the crater from the campsite. The people working for Foot Slopes Tours & Safaris are very nice! They may seem unorganised at times and maybe not as professional as our Western standards. Everything was perfect for me and I would recommend it! Remember that although it is expensive, these packages are amongst the cheapest so don't be too fussy."

"Every step of the travel arrangement process with Foot Slopes Tours & Safaris was very smooth and efficient. I would especially emphasize the effort that Gabriel and the rest of the team made for us to enjoy the safari. We were also very satisfied with the accommodation, both the tents in the safari camp in Mto Wa Mbu and a hotel in Arusha. Everything essential was provided, meals were served as agreed, so we really had an opportunity to rest and relax properly in both locations. Our guide was professional and trustworthy and made our game drives even more interesting by providing additional information about the wildlife in the region. He was also very open to making some plan adjustments according to our needs. Overall, we had an unforgettable experience of the safari in Tanzania, and I can fully recommend Foot Slopes Tours & Safaris for their friendly and personal approach in organizing our wildlife adventure. They really went out of their way to help us enjoy our tour."

"We all really enjoyed this safari. A few of us had not been on safari before and a couple had but we were all well impressed with the organisation of the company, the greeting on our arrival and the helpfulness and knowledge of the guide. He could not do enough for us and made an effort to go above and beyond what you'd expect. The tents we were expecting turned out to be amazing. Glamping beyond anything I could have dreamed of. Perfect. The only minor glitch was the tourist hotel on the night prior. The staff there didn't seem to realise they were in a service industry but this was more amusing than a problem."

"The safari game driving I had in Ngorongoro and Serengeti was amazing! Thank you Foot Slopes Tours & Safaris. Actually, we missed our flight on the last day because of several car problems during safari driving, but our consultant Gabriel and Foot Slopes team took care of us everything. They provided us free meals, accommodation in Arusha, all the taxi drives, and new flight tickets. Things happen in safari, lots of unexpected things. I think the best safari tour company is who takes care of their clients until the end no matter what happens - which I think is Foot Slopes team. Their service is excellent!"

"This safari tour was perfect. All begin with an online discussion on the web page, where I can gain all information I need before spending the money. Then, I was picked up from the airport by the owner (included) and taken to the hotel in the middle of the Arusha where I slept the night before and after the safari tour (both nights were included). In the morning, the guide took me directly from the hotel. We have made 3 days safari with Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. The guide in the jeep is communicative and educated to answer all questions. We had the budget version with accommodation in the camp between the parks (with swimming pool), which was very nice and we liked the "family" dinner with other safari guests. I would definitely recommend this company because of the very reasonable price and the personal approach of all the staff, who really try to make me enjoy the safari. "
