Planning to go on a safari in Tanzania? Then settle down for a Tanzania safari organized by Foot Slopes Tours and Safaris, one of the leading planners of Tanzania safari, trekking, and holiday tour packages. Among the national parks and game reserves you'll be visiting are Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, and the magnificent Serengeti. In Panorama safari camp, you can have a rest in their exotic beehives shaped bungalows called African Igloos or in permanent tents that are also equipped with convenient beds. They also provide space in case you arrive with your own tent or camper van. The terrace offers breathtaking views of Lake Manyara and Mto wa Mbu village. From the height of 1240 meters, you can observe special birds, monkeys, butterflies, bugs, and if you are lucky a walking chameleon across the garden.
You will be staying here on the first night of the safari.
Seronera camp is the chain of small campsites found at Seronera River Valley, which are Pimbi campsite, Tumbili campsite, Nyani campsite, and so on. The campsites are found in the central of Serengeti and accessible by road and air. It is not far from the airstrip where one can land and transfer to the campsite. Most of campsite needs are available, also there is taping water which attracts many nocturnal visitors, including lions and hyenas.
It has well maintained toilets and regularly attended and hot water showers (heated by wood fires) and firewood can only be brought from town or Karatu, mostly you should expect to go for sometimes without shower. Cold shower can be taken. In Seronera River Valley, an area known for sheltering the elusive leopard, lion pride and cheetah, the migration stops here three times a year since there is enough water and food.
The area is also more heavily visited so you should also see more tourists around this area. Wild animals frequently visit the campsite which is not fenced, you should move with caution. You will be staying here on the second night of the safari.
Simba campsite consists of several other campsite which are categorized according to the use of the camp. Simba campsite A, which is a public campsite, is on the crater rim and it is situated on the south-western rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, about two kilometers from the crater village. It has well maintained toilets and regularly attended and hot water showers (heated by wood fires) and firewood for sale.
Views points of the crater are only a short walk away and are absolutely stunning. Wild animals from the crater and Serengeti as far as from other part of Ngorongoro Conservation Area frequently visit the campsite which is not fenced, you should move with caution. You will be staying here on the third night of the safari.
This campsite is conveniently located in Mtu Wa Mbu village, not far from the gate to Lake Manyara National Park. The campsite has well-maintained gardens and spotless ensuite rooms in two-storey houses with TV, fridge, and terrace or balcony. There is also a swimming pool, restaurant, and baobab tree bar. Enjoy a spacious camping ground with good ablutions facilities. You will be staying here on the fourth night of the safari.

You will be staying here on the fifth and sixth night of the safari.
Early in the morning, after breakfast at 08:30 a.m., your driver will pick you up at Arusha Tourist Inn Hotel and will drive you to Tarangire National Park. You will enjoy morning, afternoon, and evening game drives in Tarangire National park together with the sunset. You will be having lunch and dinner at the fanaka campsite.
After breakfast, you will head towards Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, you will descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.
You will head to the central park area known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park featuring the Seronera River which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. You will arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park. You will have dinner and overnight in the Seronera camp.
After breakfast at the campsite, you will depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying en-route game drive on the way to Ngorongoro. You will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here that the anthropologists, Doctors Lois and Mary Leakey, discovered the skulls of 'Nutcracker Man' and 'Handy Man', both very significant links in the chain of human evolution.
You will arrive in time for lunch at the campsite and after lunch, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half day's safari tour. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at Ngorongoro Simba campsite.
After breakfast, you will depart for the descend down the crater for a full game drive. In the crater, you will be able to view the Big five. After the game drive in the crater, you will later drive you to Lake Manyara where you can see herds of buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and many more species, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Great Rift Wall. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be held at Jambo campsite.
After breakfast in the campsite, you will have a continuous full game drive in Lake Manyara National Park with packed lunch for game drives. The lake occupies a large area of the park, the forest start just when you cross the park gate along the base of the Great Rift Valley and hot spring to the west of the park. The park is home to tree-climbing lions, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, troops of baboons, also flamingo bird ostrich, Egyptian geese, and more.
After your picnic lunch, you will proceed with an afternoon game drive. In the evening, you will drive to Arusha Tourist inn Hotel for an overnight accommodation.
Today you start your Mount Kilimanjaro adventure. At first, you have to drive about two hours through Kilimanjaro in the morning in the semi-tropical foothills to Marangu area which is situated on the south-eastern side of the mountain. As you drive, there is usually some admirable view of the snow-capped peak of the mountain. On arrival at Marangu gate, you will meet your team of guides and porters, pick-up any last minute supplies for the trek, and head to the entrance of Mount Kilimanjaro National Park to register for the climb.
From the cluster of buildings at the gate, it is some four to five hours walk through patches of coffee plantation and dense rainforest to Mandara Hut. The forest teems with brightly-colored bird life, colobus, and other varieties of monkey. The flora includes numerous mosses, lichens, and flowers, as well as delicate orchids.
If the skies are clear, you may have fine views over the town of Moshi lying at the boundary of the plain far underneath. Mandara Hut is a collection of basic, A-frame mountain huts with bunk beds - quite adequate for your needs - where you inevitably meet up with fellow trekkers who are bent on the same goal.
You will depart late in the evening back to Arusha. You will have an overnight stay at Arusha Venice Hotel.
At the end of your tour, Foot Slopes Tours and Safaris ltd will drop you off at the airport.
You will have a trekking excursion in Mount Kilimanjaro on the sixth day of the safari. Apart from that, you will have the chance to observe the wildlife, do birdwatching and go on game drives in Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, and the magnificent Serengeti.
You will be provided with three daily meals and drinking water throughout the safari.
