Location

This safari will allow you to visit Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, and Kilimanjaro National Park.

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is a protected area that hosts giant flamingo colonies, waterfowls, elephants, hippopotami, buffalos, guenons, banded mongooses, and numerous types of gazelles and antelopes. The park is also well known for its “tree-climbing lions”.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous national parks in the world, known for its magnificent lions and great migration. It is one of the most comprehensive and appealing presentations of nature, conservation, and research in general. Every day, hundreds of nature lovers and tourists from all over the world visit it.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Ngorongoro Crater)

On your safari in Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will visit Olduvai Gorge where the anthropologists, Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of 'Nutcracker Man' and 'Handy Man', both very significant links in the chain of human evolution. In Ngorongoro Crater, you will be able to view the Big 5.

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park has up to 300 elephants, nomadic wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, impalas, gazelles, hartebeests, and elands. It is the most attractive wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem and a smorgasbord for predators.

Tarangire National Park is one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelopes such as the stately fringe-eared oryxes and peculiar long-necked gerenuks are regularly practical. It is the only national park that holds the migration during the dry season and a home to various species of animals.

Kilimanjaro National Park (Mandara Hut)

On your journey to Kilimanjaro, you will pass the semi-tropical foothills to the Marangu area which is situated on the south-eastern side of the mountain. From the cluster of buildings at Marangu gate, it is a 4 -5 hours walk through patches of coffee plantation and dense rainforest to Mandara Hut. The forest teems with brightly-colored bird life, colobus, and other varieties of monkeys. The flora includes numerous mosses, lichens, and flowers, as well as delicate orchids. If the skies are clear, you may have fine views over the town of Moshi lying at the boundary of the plain far underneath.
