Fanaka Campsite

Fanaka Campsite is a budgeted campsite, the camping area is secluded, spacious, and under the shade of trees. Lodge accommodations cover triple rooms, double rooms with king-size beds, and twin bed sizes to single rooms. All rooms are en-suite with hot shower bathrooms, toilets, and mosquito net. Some rooms have a self balcony to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful natural trees and vegetation.

Seronera Campsite

The public campsites which are collectively called Seronera Campsite are located in the Central Serengeti area known as the Seronera. Seronera Campsite is one of the most famed campsites in Tanzania for animal encounters. Animals will pass through the campsite at night on their nocturnal wanderings. This campsite is guarded. Tents have mats, and bathrooms are outside the tent.

Ngorongoro Simba Campsite

Simba Campsite lies on the very rim of Ngorongoro Crater and has an excellent view across the caldera. A fantastic sunrise over the crater rim makes a fine breakfast scene. Often, there are elephants wandering around the camp. This campsite is guarded. Tents have mats, and bathrooms are outside the tent. Facilities at Simba Campsite are basic, but this is more than made up for by the atmosphere of this camp in the clouds.

Before and after the safari

You will be accommodated in Arusha Inn Hotel before and Venice Hotel after the safari.

Program

Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Early in the morning after breakfast at 08:30 the driver will pick you up from Arusha Tourist Inn Hotel to go on an early morning game drive in the Tarangire National Park. Today, you will stay at Fanaka Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation area. Leaving the highlands behind, you will descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.

You will head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife of the Serengeti's species. You will arrive in time for lunch which will be followed by an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Today, you will have dinner and stay overnight in the Seronera Camp.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Early in the morning, you will go on a game drive at Serengeti National Park, which is known as the biggest national park in the world where you can enjoy its natural features and beauty. Afterward, you can back for breakfast and relax for a while; then you will proceed for a full day game drive with picnic lunches, dinner, and overnight at Seronera Campsite.

Day 4: Serengeti Plain - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at the campsite, you will depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying an en-route game drive on the way to Ngorongoro. You will stop at Olduvai Gorge, boasting a history dating back to the dawn of time. You will arrive in time for lunch at the campsite and after lunch, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view the wildlife for a half day's safari tour. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

After breakfast, you will depart for the descend down the crater full game drive. In the crater, you will be able to view the Big 5. After a full game drive in the crater, you will proceed to Lake Manyara. See buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and many more species, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Great Rift Wall. After a game drive in the crater, the driver will drive you to the Maasai people to witness the cultural activities in Maasai. Late in the evening, you will be driven back to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Venice Hotel.

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is a protected area that hosts giant flamingo colonies, waterfowls, elephants, hippopotami, buffalos, guenons, banded mongooses, and numerous types of gazelles and antelopes. The park is also well known for its “tree climbing lions”.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous national parks in the world, known for its magnificent lions and great migration. It is one of the most comprehensive and appealing presentations of nature, conservation, and research in general. Every day, hundreds of nature lovers and tourists from all over the world visit it.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area

One of the world’s breathtaking natural wonders with a breathtaking setting. One of the places to see the Big Five. Ngorongoro is a haven for approximately 25,000 animals and around 400 different bird species. You can find a good population of black manned lions that trail the grasslands, robust herds of wildebeests along with endangered black rhino, zebras, hyenas, and leopards.
