Guided Safari in South Africa
Join this magnificent 3-day safari which is applicable to visitors who do not have the luxury of time while in South Africa, but still want some form of wildlife exposure. Three separate day tours each with its own unique experience. One day will be spent in the Dinokeng Game Reserve, the only game reserve of its size in the world situated within the urban boundaries of a city. Two days will allow a close and personal interaction with wild animals under the close supervision of their trainers.

You will be accommodated for 2 nights in a guesthouse.
Guests will be collected either at O. R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) or at the guest house and taken to the Dinokeng Game Reserve. The departure time is no later than 07:00. Arrival at the reserve must be in time to transfer onto the open game viewing vehicles for a game drive of approximately 2 hours. Lunch will be enjoyed on the deck overlooking a river.
The drive back to Pretoria will be at 13:30 to enable a stop at the Union Buildings, the Office of the President of South Africa with a beautiful view of the Administrative Capital of South Africa. Photographic opportunity will be allowed of the newly unveiled statue of one of the greatest people who ever walked on earth, Mr. Nelson Mandela. A drive passing the Voortrekker Monument on the way to the guest house will end the first day's activities.
An early pick-up and transfer to the Lion Park on the south-western end of Johannesburg will start the day of excitement as you will be taken on an open game viewing vehicle to view and interact with the King of the Wild. Alex Larenty, the world-renowned lion trainer, will give you the insight to this animal's behavior that will keep you in awe for time to come.
This will be followed by a walk with cheetahs and later the feeding of giraffes. You will also have the privilege to interact with the lion cubs. This day will leave you with memories that will, no doubt, linger for a long time. Lunch will be on your own account. Curios / gift buying opportunities will be allowed before returning to the guest house to end the second day.
You will be collected and transferred to The Elephant Sanctuary Hartbeespoort Dam. Once again, the day will be filled with interaction out of the ordinary. The opportunity to touch and learn more about these magnificent animals will be an unforgettable experience. The afternoon will be spent at the Bush Babies Monkey Sanctuary where you will be entertained by viewing, interacting, and getting to know these interesting little creatures.
The day will be ended with a cable car ride to view one of the most beautiful scenic areas in Gauteng, Hartebeespoort Dam. You will be transferred to your guesthouse or O. R. Tambo International Airport (JNB). Your departure will determine this last transfer.
You will have an opportunity to visit the Union Buildings.
