You will stay in Venice Hotel in Arusha for the other two nights on the arrival and departure days.

Program

Day 1 Arusha

A representative will be at the pickup place (airport or bus station) of your arrival, feeling excited while waiting for your arrival with your name printed on an A4 paper. You will have a look at Mount Meru as you approach Arusha town and enjoy driving across the coffee and mixed banana plantations. Relax in your already-booked hotel in Arusha after a long flight while you are dreaming of your safari tomorrow morning.

Day 2 Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park, have a morning game drive followed by lunch and an afternoon game drive, and stay overnight in your already-prepared Twiga Campsite before sunset. Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its fabulous pink flamingos and lion climbing trees adventures.

The second interesting aspect is the nature and landscape in Lake Manyara National Park which is located behind the escarpment rising westward. Enjoy your time with lions, hippos, antelopes, impalas, and zebras just beside your safari vehicle. When in flamingo’s season, Lake Manyara is covered by flamingos feeding algae in the lakeshore. Later in the evening, you will be driven to Sunbright campsite and lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3. Lake Manyara to Tarangire National Park

Wake up in the morning and have breakfast before your morning game drive followed by lunch and an afternoon game drive to Arusha. You will arrive at your campsite after a two-hour drive from Arusha. Go on your morning game watch before you take a break for a pleasant lunch. Your afternoon game drive will reveal all the wonders of Tarangire, a national park often renamed as the 'elephant playground'. Herds of up to 300 of these mighty mammals are sometimes seen in the park.

Tarangire is noted for its splendid baobab trees, rolling savannah, and acacia woodland. At the end of an inspiring afternoon amongst the wildlife, you will retire to the comfort of the campsite for an evening meal. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Sunbright Campsite and Lodge.

Day 4. Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park

In the early morning, you will be led to Serengeti National Park with an afternoon game watching and photographing in Serengeti National Park. Today, you will have a long interesting journey with a game drive en route to Nabi Hill Gate where you are going to have lunch around 14:30 while your driver confirms the entrance fees. Grab all the best viewpoints of superb landscapes on your way to Serengeti and have a view of the Ngorongoro Crater, but not to do a game drive.

Late in the afternoon, you will have a game-watching in Serengeti until the sunset. After seeing the sunset in Serengeti National Park, prepare for a shower, dinner, and overnight stay at Seronera Campsite in the heart of Serengeti National Park. Wildlife statistical currently measures that Serengeti has large herbivore species of over 1,300,000 wildebeests, 250,000 Thomson’s gazelles, 200,000 zebras, 70,000 impalas, 50,000 topis, 30,000 grants gazelles, 10,000 lands, and many antelopes. With dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite.

Day 5. Central Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Wake early in the morning to take a cup of coffee followed by an early game drive in Serengeti National Park, go back to the campsite, pack everything, take brunch, and depart with a game drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You are in Serengeti plains, the world's natural wonder, and the first natural African icon. Explore wild predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards kidding in the branches of trees, flamingos, and water birds on the Lake Magadi, as well as lovebirds and kingfishers across the Seronera River Valley.

Only in Serengeti, you will see millions of big wild mammals and maybe wildebeest migration. Then, you will depart with en-route game watching across the Koppies of Serengeti to explore the cheetahs, lions, and leopards. Hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, elephants, and small antelopes are plenty, finding their survival in this plain. With Hot dinner and overnight at Simba Campsite.

Day 6. Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will descend to the crater floor for about a six-hour game drive. In the afternoon, you will depart with en-route game watching and, later on, go to the Maasai market to take some souvenirs and drive back to Arusha reaching your hotel in the evening. The 45-minute descending to the crater is a beautiful moment to experience especially in the morning hours.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the world’s garden and the place in which you can find some species of wildflowers. Here, you will also have an amazing experience to see the natural crater with wonderful volcanic caldera and Lake Magadi with flamingos. When in the season, the Ngorongoro Crater floor is flowered pink, red, and yellow especially in late May and early June. Also, Ngorongoro is where to find the black rhinos regularly inside the small forest. In the afternoon, you will ascend the crater to Tarangire National Park. Overnight stay will be at the Venice Hotel BB.

Day 7. Arusha

After breakfast, you will be taken to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). There are focal points for you to have Mount Kilimanjaro view when the cloud is clear on your way to the airport. Fig Tree Tours & Travel wishes you all the best on your way back home. Don’t hesitate to let them know you have got your home. Fig Tree Tours & Travels is looking for you to be back again soon with family and friends.

Location

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is the national park in which herds of up to 300 elephants scrape the waterless river bed for alternative streams, while nomadic wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland mass the decrease lagoons. It is the most attentive of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem - a smorgasbord for predators and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared Oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly practical. It is the only national park that holds the migrant during the dry season and welcoming home of different species of animals.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park, in northern Tanzania, is known for its massive annual migration of wildebeest and zebra. Seeking new pasture, the herds move north from their breeding grounds in the grassy southern plains. Many cross the marshy western corridor’s crocodile-infested Grumeti River. Others veer northeast to the Lobo Hills, home to black eagles. Black rhinos inhabit the granite outcrops of the Moru Kopjes.

Ngorongoro Crater

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is a protected area and a World Heritage Site located 180 kilometers (110 miles) west of Arusha in the Crater Highlands area of Tanzania. The area is named after Ngorongoro Crater, a large volcanic caldera within the area. The conservation area is administered by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, an arm of the Tanzanian government, and its boundaries follow the boundary of the Ngorongoro Division of the Arusha Region.
