During this safari, you will be staying in various accommodations across Kenya.
For the first and second night of your safari, you can relax, have a well-earned rest, and prepare for the next day's adventure at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
The third night of your safari will be spent at the cozy accommodations offered by Lake Elementaita Sentrim Lodge.
For the fourth and fifth night of your safari, retreat in your lovely accommodations at Ashnil Mara Camp. There, you can recharge and prepare for your departure.
The team will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi. You will be met by a Features Africa Journeys representative for a short safari briefing and introduction to your Kenya safari. You will depart Nairobi, heading north through a rich, agricultural region with coffee, wheat, and horticulture farms among other plantations.
You will cross the equator at Nanyuki and proceed north before descending from the cool highlands into the wildlife-rich northern savanna woodlands. Arrive at Samburu National Reserve in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive.
You will spend a full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game viewing drives. During the hot day, you will have the liberty to spend it in leisure.
After breakfast, you will depart from Samburu, driving into the scenic Rift Valley escarpment before finally checking-in to Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch and your afternoon game drive. Later on, you will exit the park and drive to Lake Elementaita for your overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, you will depart from your camp, heading for Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will drive into the Maasai land passing through the Kedong and Suswa plains, making a stopover in the Maasai town of Narok. You will continue towards the Mara, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive.
Depending on the wildlife migration patterns and the weather, you could either opt for morning and evening game drives or alternatively venture out for a full day in the Mara.
For the last day of the safari, you will have breakfast and leave Maasai Mara. You will enjoy an extra game viewing in and out of the park as you drive through the Loita Plains and the floor of the Great Rift Valley, arriving in Kenya’s capital city of Nairobi in the early afternoon.
On the second day of the safari, you have the option to visit the local communities living adjacent to Samburu National Reserve or relax by the swimming pool.
This safari will take place in Samburu National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, and Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya.
Maasai Mara is among the favorites in Kenya with the wildebeest migration happening annually. The abundance of wildlife makes it a favorite destination for many. Big cats and herbivores are all in abundance as it is also famed as the park where you can easily spot and photograph the big five. Other notable parks are Amboseli, Samburu, Ol Pejeta, and Lake Nakuru, Magadi, Bogoria, Baringo, Elementaita, Turkana, Oloiden, and Naivasha among others.

Lake Logipi, Silale Crater, Poror Ridge, Suguta Dunes, Mount Nyiro, Mathews Range, Chalbi Desert, and Magado Crater are among the least explored regions but spectacles worth seeing.
