Pousado do Parque (2 nights)

With a small structure of only eight apartments, Pousado do Parque was all built with logs reused from woods already cut. It has an affluent treatment plant and is a pioneer project of solar heating and cooling, in partnership with German authorities.

Its prime location, combined with the scenic beauty of Chapada, as well as the sandstone walls, make it the ideal place for observing more than 250 species of Cerrado birds, in addition to numerous species of animals, insects, and the most varied species of vegetation endemic to the region.

Right next to the inn, Pousado do Parque has trails of easy and moderate levels, two seasonal waterfalls, and a gazebo. Their restaurant, Teta de Loba, has a breathtaking view of the national park, where guests can take the opportunity to have a wine or beer and taste dishes while watching the sunset or moon rise at the end of a full day of activities.

To relax, the property also offers a swimming pool, a sauna, and a shala for yoga lovers.

Cristalino Lodge (3 nights)

Day 1: Arrival in North Pantanal

Your adventure begins with a short flight from São Paulo to Cuiabá. Upon arrival, head on a journey along the Transpantaneira Park Road to Araras Eco Lodge, nestled in the heart of the world's largest floodplain. Spend three nights surrounded by this pristine environment.

In the afternoon, take a leisurely hike around the lodge to Mirante da Garça, a 12-meter observation tower offering sunset views. After dinner, head for a stargazing trek, where the Pantanal's nocturnal symphony comes alive.

Day 2: Exploring Rio Clarinho River

After breakfast, venture to Rio Clarinho River for a rowboat ride along its banks, where you may spot playful otters. Enjoy a barbecue-style lunch by the river, followed by relaxation in hammocks.

Day 3: Horseback riding adventure

Day 4: Dawn walk and Chapada dos Guimarães

Day 5: Waterfalls in the national park

Head on a hike through the national park, marveling at sandstone formations sculpted by nature and crystal-clear waterfalls. Finish the hike at the magnificent 86-meter Véu de Noiva waterfall, where you'll enjoy a traditional meal overlooking a vast canyon.

Return to the lodge and take a short hike to witness the sunset above São Geronimo Peak.

Day 6: Journey to the Amazon Rainforest

Before breakfast, go for a sunrise walk around the lodge to observe the awakening of the Cerrado. Then, head to Cuiabá Airport for a flight to Alta Floresta. Upon arrival, transfer to Cristalino Lodge, where you'll spend three nights in the Amazon jungle. In the afternoon, explore the Cristalino Nature Reserve and visit the lodge's floating deck.

Days 7 and 8: The Amazon Rainforest

Over the next two days, choose from a variety of activities to explore the Amazon Rainforest. Options include canoeing along the Cristalino River, hiking through the jungle, visiting observation towers to observe canopy species, and boat trips.

Day 9: Arrival in Rio de Janeiro

Day 10: Discovering Rio de Janeiro

Day 11: Hiking in Rio de Janeiro
