You will depart from Nairobi in the morning and arrive at Naromoru in time for lunch. After lunch, you will proceed to Mount Kenya Naromoru Hotel for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, you will proceed to Naromoru Park Gate and start hiking to Met Station (3,300 meters). The hiking takes about three hours. Dinner and overnight at Met Station.
You will depart Met Station after breakfast and proceed to Teleki Valley and arrive at Mackinder’s Camp (4,300 meters) in the early evening. You will have picnic lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Mackinder’s Camp.
You will depart at 10:00 after breakfast, ascending along a steep screw to Austrian Hut (4,700 meters). Covering this distance takes about three hours. Dinner and overnight at Austrian Hut.
Departing at 05:30, you will proceed through Lewis Glacier to Point Lenana (4,985 meters). You will arrive approximately at 06:30 in the morning. After the sunrise, descend down to Mintos Hut for full breakfast. Later, descend along the famous Gorges Valley to Chogoria campsite. Dinner and overnight at Chogoria campsite.
After breakfast, set on morning journey to Chogoria (32 kilometers). 4WD vehicles are provided but during the bad weather, climbers have to walk some distance as vehicles may not reach the bandas. From Chogoria, transport is provided back to Nairobi and you will arrive in the late afternoon. Drop off at a hotel in the city.
After breakfast, you will drive off to Lake Naivasha with a stop en route at the Great Rift Valley for the eye-catching views. Reach in time for lunch. After lunch, you will have an excursion to the Elsa Mere Center where you will experience the Joy of Adamson and Elsa while viewing "Born Free” as well as birding on the way. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Country Club.
After breakfast, you will depart to Lake Baringo with a stopover at the Nyahururu Waterfalls for sightseeing and bird watching. Proceed on by road into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Bogoria National Park for dinner and overnight at Lake Baringo Country Club.
After breakfast, you will head to the isolated remains of the equatorial rain forest that once spread over Africa from west to east. The avifauna is unique. The forest holds large populations of black and white colobus and red-tailed monkeys among others. Dinner and overnight stay at Rondo Retreat Center.
After breakfast, with packed lunch, you will go for a full day birding in the Kakamega Forest. This forest is renowned for its uniqueness and richness in bird life and species like Turners Eremomela, Black Billed Turaco, Great Blue Turaco, and so many others. Return for Dinner and overnight stay at Rondo Retreat Center.
After breakfast, you will drive off to Lake Nakuru for bird watching. You will reach the park in time for lunch. After you have your lunch, head to the lake shores to see flamingoes and other bird species. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp.
You will be picked up from your hotel at 07:30 and drive via the scenic Great Rift Valley to the Mara Reserve arriving in good time for lunch. You will have an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa lodge.
Today, you will have a full day to explore the park in search of the Big Five. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of 450 USD per person. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa lodge. The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The film ‘Out of Africa’ was made to a great extent in this reserve. Virtually, every type of wildlife can be seen at the Mara. A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle from Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to reach Maasai Mara grazing fields from late June. The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed from early July to August. The reserve abounds with birdlife since dose to about 452 species has been recorded. Hot air balloon safaris are readily available in this park.
After breakfast, you will have game en route and drive to Amboseli via Namanga on the Tanzania border to reach Amboseli in good time for lunch. Lunch at a lodge followed by full afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Kibo safari camp. Amboseli Park (at 392 square kilometers) is the second most popular park in Kenya after Maasai Mara, mainly due to the spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro on the southern boundary.
Today, you will spend the full day in Amboseli with early morning and evening game drives. Whilst in the park, you will have the opportunity to photograph the animals against the wonderful backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. All meals and overnight will be at Amboseli Kibo safari camp.
After an early breakfast, you will depart for Tsavo West National Park which lies roughly halfway between Nairobi and the coast. Arrival at your Taita saltlick lodge will be in time for lunch. An early evening game drive to see large herds of elephants, buffalo, common waterbuck, eland, rhino, and a wide variety of antelope. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight near Lugard Falls Eland in the Tsavo.
You will depart the lodge soon after breakfast and proceed to Tsavo East National Park. The game is viewed as you exit the park. Dinner and overnight stay at Ashnil Aruba Safari Lodge. This park was famed for its large herds of the elephant covered in red dust and fine scenery. You will visit the scenic Lugards Falls, Mudanda Rocks (attracts elephants in the drier season), and Aruba Dam as you view game if time permits. Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge.
You will get the chance to spend a full day to explore the park. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Dinner and overnight stay at Sarova Saltlick. The landscape in Tsavo East is flatter and drier, despite having one of Kenya’s largest rivers flowing through the middle. Much of the wildlife is concentrated on the Galena River, this has plentiful crocodiles and hippos. Likewise, kudus, waterbucks, and dik-diks are common along the river banks.
You will have an early morning game drive. Soon after breakfast, you will proceed to Mombasa and arrive at 14:00. Drop off at the Turtle Bay beach hotel, seafront room to start a beach holiday for three days.
