During the safari, you will be staying at Kibo Safari Camp, Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, and Mara Leisure Camp.

The safari will start from Amboseli National Park, which is well known as the home of the giants. This exciting Kenya safari starts with a 07:30 departure from the hotel in Nairobi. For those arriving the same morning, kindly book a flight that arrives at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) no later than 06:30. For flights arriving later than that, an overnight stay in Nairobi is required.
You are scheduled to arrive in time for lunch at the luxurious Kibo Safari Tented Camp which lies within Amboseli National Park. This will be your new home away from home. The park is the second most famous park in Kenya after Majestic Mara. The park is famous for being the best place in the world to see free ranging elephants, best views of Africa's tallest giant Mt. Kilimanjaro as well as other wildlife.
Afternoon game drive in the custom 4x4 Safari Land Cruiser will begin from 16:00 as you go in search of the variety of wildlife found in the park. You can anticipate capturing images of the shy Kilimanjaro peak. Safari dinner will follow later on.
After early morning breakfast, you shall say “Kwaheri” to Mt. Kilimanjaro and the majestic giant elephants of Amboseli as you head to Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive is very scenic as you will be going through the Great Rift Valley. Late lunch will be at Sentrim Elementaita Lodge, located on the shores of Lake Elementaita.
After lunch, you shall proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park whereby upon entry at the park, you shall proceed with the afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is the ultimate ornithologist's paradise with over 450 species of birds and is best known for its numerous Pink Flamingos. However, due to fluctuating water levels, sightings have been sporadic.
The park was also the first rhino sanctuary and offers the best opportunity to come across the rare black and white rhino. Among the predators you may hope to come across are the lions and occasional leopard. The park also boasts the biggest euphorbia forest in Africa.
The day starts with an early Morning breakfast followed departure to the world famous Maasai Mara National Reserve famous for its lions, wildebeest migration, and the Maasai people. You are planned to arrive in time for lunch at Mara Leisure Luxury Tented Camp located along the Talek River in what is considered as the prime wildlife area.
From 16:00 till dusk, you shall explore the Masai Mara wilderness as you will go in search of the spectacular wildlife. Then, you will have safari dinner and overnight at Mara Leisure Luxury Tented Camp.
The day starts with an early morning breakfast followed by full day game drive till around 16:00 with Safari Picnic lunch to be enjoyed in the wilderness. You will also visit a section of the Mara Rive in anticipation for some great wildlife action.
Each year, the Mara plays host to the world's greatest natural spectacle, the Great Wildebeest Migration, from the Serengeti. From July to October, the promise of rain and fresh life giving grass in the north brings more than 1.3 million wildebeest together into a single massive herd. They pour across the border into the Mara, making a spectacular entrance in a surging column of life that stretches from horizon to horizon. At the Mara River, they mass together on the banks before finally plunging forward through the raging waters, creating a frenzy as they fight against swift currents and waiting crocodiles.
Today, you will have an early morning extended game drive from 06:30 followed by a late breakfast at 08:00. The will give you an opportunity to experience wildlife action characterized by early morning hours.
The rest of the morning and afternoon can be enjoyed at leisure within the camp grounds. Feel free to indulge at their magnificent pool or just enjoy cocktails at the bar. The afternoon game drive will be from 16:00 where you will once more go to explore the wildlife and scenery of the Mara that never ceases to amaze.
After an epic stay and experience at the Masai Mara, you will depart for the vibrant city of Nairobi, well known as the safari capital of the world, after breakfast. Exciting lunch or dinner reservations at the world famous The Carnivore Restaurant will follow. Enjoy skewers of game meat as well as regular meat served with delicious sauces and side dishes. For the vegetarians, other dinner reservations can be arranged. Transfer to the airport will follow later on after a spectacular safari with Expedition Kenya Safari.
