Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya
Arrive in Nairobi, and then you'll be transferred to your luxurious accommodations in one of Kenya’s most famous hotels.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park (game amid mountains)
Today, you'll drive from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park and your tented safari camp beneath Mount Kilimanjaro. The elephant population is prolific here. Amid acacia woodland, scrub brush, freshwater swamps, and open plains, you can watch for buffalos, hippos, and waterfowls.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park (safari beneath Mount Kilimanjaro)
You'll embark on exciting morning and afternoon game drives, keeping watch for lions and cheetahs as they prepare to hunt. Then, from atop the perch of prehistoric Observation Hill, witness the grasslands and mighty mountain shift colors at sunset.

Days 4 and 5: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy (tented luxury)
Today, you'll drive by road to the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, a harbor for endangered black rhinos, big cats, and elephants. Drive to your exclusive Lewa tented camp in the scenic Northern Frontier District, set within a private wildlife conservancy and rhino sanctuary.
Take to the bush this afternoon and tomorrow, in search of northern species such as the reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and the long-necked gerenuk, which stands on its hind legs to feed. Consider taking a walking safari, optional horseback ride or camel ride (additional cost) - amenities not possible in game reserves or national parks.

Day 6: Nanyuki (Fairmont Mount Kenya safari club)
You'll drive to Nanyuki, stopping en route at Nanyuki Spinners and Weavers, a women’s self-help project with a mission to empower women to achieve sustainable livelihoods through social and economic empowerment activities. See how women learn to weave and create a wide range of handsome rugs and other accessories during this inspiring artisan visit.
Then, you'll arrive at Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club. Check in and spend an afternoon at leisure, perhaps enjoying a swim in the heated pool, or try one of the many optional activities available, such as horseback riding on the slopes of Mount Kenya, golfing or trout fishing.

Day 7: Maasai Mara National Reserve (abundant animals)
Today, you'll fly to the Maasai Mara National Reserve and your award-winning luxury camp. Its 14 elegant tents feature four-poster beds and verandas overlooking a private stretch of the Mara River, where hippos wallow. After a late-afternoon game drive, return to camp for dinner.

Days 8 and 9: Maasai Mara National Reserve (marvelous Mara)
For the next two days, you'll explore the vast plains. Situated along the Tanzanian border, the Maasai Mara is the site of the annual wildebeest migration and home to the country’s largest lion population. Immerse yourself in the lives of locals when you visit the students and teachers of a local school where literacy rates have been improved by an e-reader program that increased access to books, a project supported by Exciting Africa Holidays Ltd
While at Asnil Mara Camp, partake in a chef’s table experience, featuring a cooking demonstration of local dishes with the opportunity to taste them when they’re finished. Later, celebrate a sunset on the Mara with a scenic sundowner. On your final evening, enjoy a farewell dinner.
