Arrival in Nairobi

Your adventure will start upon arrival at the Nairobi airport. Therefore, you'll be settled into a comfortable hotel for the night, preparing for the wonders that await.

Witnessing the Great Migration

For the next three thrilling days, you'll be whisked away to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. As a result, you'll have the opportunity to witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration firsthand. Witness millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle thunder across the plains in an epic display of nature's power.

Your adventure will continue with a scenic train journey from Nairobi to Mombasa, Kenya's vibrant coastal city.

Beach bliss on Diani

Following the train journey, upon arrival in Mombasa, a comfortable transfer will take you to your hotel on Diani Beach. There, you will spend the next four blissful nights soaking up the sun on pristine white sand beaches and turquoise waters.

Whale-watching adventure

One of your days will be dedicated to an exhilarating boat trip in search of majestic humpback whales and playful dolphins. During this excursion, keep your eyes peeled for these magnificent creatures breaching and frolicking in the Indian Ocean.

Return to Mombasa

After a rejuvenating beach escape, a convenient transfer will take you to Mombasa for your return flight home.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi airport

You'll have a meet and great at the airport, then eSafari Africa will transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi.

Day 2: Masai Mara

At 07:30, you will be picked up at your hotel to join the group in town, then later depart to Masai Mara, passing through the highly agricultural highlands of the eastern escarpment of the Great Rift Valley, wherein you will have a stopover at a viewpoint.

At 2,200 meters above sea level, views of Mount Longonot hundreds of meters below on the Rift Valley floor are spectacular. Additionally, Lake Naivasha, the highest in altitude of the Rift Valley Lakes, sparkles at a distance.

Next, descend the escarpment to Narok town, stop over for a nature call, then proceed to Masai Mara. You will then check in at the camp at around 18:30, have lunch, and relax for one hour. Afterwards, you'll have your dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 3: The Great Migration

You'll have breakfast at the camp then proceed with picnic lunches for a full day game drive. You will be driven all the way to Mara River, where the Great Migration happens, and see the Nile crocodiles, hippos, and other animals. You will also be taken to the border of Serengeti and Masai Mara, then you can have dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 4: Masai Mara to Nairobi

After breakfast, you can visit the Masai community, which is an optional add-on, and the cost for the trip is 20 USD. Later, you will depart for Nairobi.

Day 5: Train to Mombasa

This morning, eSafari Africa will bring you to the train station for your train journey to Mombasa, followed by a comfortable transfer from Mombasa to your hotel on Diani Beach, wherein you'll stay for four nights.

Day 6: Sun, sea, and beach

On this day, you can relax at the hotel, the beach and / or in the ocean.

Day 7: Watching humpback whales and dolphins

On this day, you'll enjoy a two-hour boat trip to watch humpback whales and dolphins.

Day 8: More sun, sea, and beach

This day will be another day to relax.

Day 9: Departure

In the morning, you'll be transferred to Mombasa airport for your flight back home.
