OMG they are the BEST tour company I have ever used!! My 23 year old daughter and myself (mother) did the Gorilla trek 2 nights 3 days in Uganda last November stayed at the community rest camp and it was totally amazing. Encounter picked us up from our hotel in Kampala and our adventure started from there. They were informative, helpful soooo accommodating, I honestly couldn't say enough positive compliments to justify them The whole experience was amazing!!!! The experience with the Gorillas is a once in a lifetime event. Go and enjoy say hi to Jerry!!! :)

When I begin planning a Gorilla Trek in Uganda, I was overwhelmed with the number of operators. I chose Encounter African Safaris because they were friendly, quick to respond to all of my questions, and they worked with me to get a great rate for my group. I took a chance, and was very happy. My high maintenance group (and I say that with love)! had nothing but great things to say. I highly recommend Encounter African Safaris.

We are now back from our trip to Uganda, and we could not have been happier with the company we chose. They were great! They arranged everything for us, and we had no issues what so ever. Also, the driver (Hassan) they provided was one of the nicest men we have ever met. Always smiling, and always helping us with whatever we needed help with. Thank you Encounter Africa Safaris Ltd! (And especially Jerry, who we were in contact with from day 1). PS: We stayed at Nkuringo Gorilla Camp, which we also highly recommend.
