Economic Adventure Safaris invites you to join this amazing safari in Kenya. Exploring animals and their habitats in national parks along the border will be the highlight of this tour. You will visit many interesting places along the route, join game drives, and relax with the beauty of nature. You will be away from the hustle and bustle of cities by staying at lodges within parks and enjoy the sound and the peace of nature at night. Come and broaden your knowledge of Kenya!
During this tour, you will stay overnight in Amboseli Serena or Amboseli Sopa or the lodge having the similar standards on the first two nights, Ngulia Safari Lodge or similar on night three, and Voi Wildlife Lodge on the last night.
Set on 200 acres of private land and with a rustic charm all of its own, the lodge nestles in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro which, at almost six thousand meters, is Africa’s highest and most famous snow-capped mountain.
Amboseli Sopa Lodge is set within mature wooded gardens with a wide variety of trees and plants which include thorn trees, Acacias, fragrant Frangipanis, colorful bougainvillea, and giant cacti which all thrive in these surroundings. The gardens are also home to numerous species of birds, as well as monkeys, mongooses, squirrels, duikers, the occasional gazelle, and, once in a while, even an ever inquisitive leopard.
Rustic, well-spaced cottages meander through the vast expanse of the mature gardens and house the eighty-three guest rooms. These are all brightly decorated with Maasai-themed wall murals, and each room has been purposely built to contain either one or two queen-sized beds, as well as a veranda.
Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge is located within Amboseli National Park, which lies approximately 250 kilometers from Nairobi and close to the Tanzanian border. Set against the magnificent backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, the glittering Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge enjoys a uniquely privileged position at the heart of this world-famous national park.
Secluded within a grove of acacia trees, the lodge looks out over the golden savannah plains, with uninterrupted views of the mountain itself. Close by are a series of emerald green swamps, which are fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro. The luxury en suite rooms are accommodated in two single-stoned dedicated buildings, which lie to the right and left of the main reception and dining areas.
Each tastefully-appointed room features a Maasai-inspired, hand-painted, wall fresco, king-sized bed or luxurious twins, lavish all-encompassing mosquito-curtaining, bathroom (with walk-in shower), writing/vanity unit, and private veranda.
Ngulia Safari Lodge, built in 1969, is located in Tsavo West National Park, which is home to a big host of wild animals. It can be accessed from Nairobi (260 kilometers away), through Mtito Andei Gate, or from Mombasa (250 kilometers away) through Tsavo River Gate. The lodge is perched on the Ndawe Escarpment just below Ngulia Hills, overlooking the rhino sanctuary surrounded by scenic hills. You will spend your second night here. Ngulia Safari Lodge no doubt has one of the most breathtaking views in Kenya. It has 52 standard rooms, all equipped with a bath and shower, as well as a balcony with a view of the vast wilderness and floodlit waterholes. It has two restaurants. The main restaurant, built in an open-air style, has a view of floodlit waterholes and the Leopard dining tree. There is also the Leopard view bar open in the evenings before the arrival of the leopards from the wilderness. Guests can enjoy their meals as they watch the leopards feast, the other animals drink water and make love, and the birds compete in their melodies.
Officially opened in 2003, the lodge is situated on a 25-acre site on the boundary of Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest game parks with spectacular views of nearby volcanic outcrops, such as the Kasigau, Sagalla and Mwakingali Hills. Designed to blend unassumingly into the surrounding environment, the lodge boasts a natural waterhole often attracting big game, including elephant, lion, cheetah, buffalo as well as a rich variety of birdlife.
Accommodating up to 300 guests, all rooms have spacious en-suite bathrooms and are furnished in African decor that is replicated throughout the lodge. The luxury rooms comprise two four-poster beds and views of the Savannah, which one can enjoy from the comfort of one’s balcony or terrace.
