Day 1 - Nairobi to Mara

You will be picked from Nairobi at 8:00 a.m. by the tour van and drive through Westlands to the Rift Valley view point where you will have a stopover. From there, you will proceed to the world renowned Maasai Mara Game Reserve. This game reserve is considered by many to be the jewel and highlight of any safari. This is mainly because of its abundance of game and the fact that it supports one of Africa's highest concentrations of predators.

After arriving at Mara, you will check in to the camp for lunch. You will have time to familiarize yourself with the new environment before embarking on an evening game drive. Dinner, entertainment, and overnight will be at Basecamp Maasai Mara.

Day 2 - Maasai Mara

After a hefty buffet breakfast in the camp, you will embark on a game viewing drive in search for wild animals. You will drive to the famous Mara River in search of hippos and crocodiles. If your visit falls between July and September, you will witness the great migration of the wildebeest from Serengeti plains to Maasai Mara through Mara River.

This annual event was named as one of the seven new wonders of the world. You will also see the Kenya-Tanzania border that marks one side of the Mara Triangle. You will have your lunch in the park and proceed on a game drive in search of animals not seen so far. Dinner, entertainment, and overnight at Basecamp Maasai Mara. Today's meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 3 - Maasai Mara to Nairobi

You will be woken up at around 6:00 a.m. to embark on an early morning game drive and then return to the lodge for breakfast. This is the best time to have game drives since the animals both nocturnal and diurnal are active before the sun sends them off under the shades. After your hefty breakfast, you will load your luggage into the vans bid Maasai Mara Kwaheri goodbye and proceed to Nairobi to arrive in the afternoon.

On this safari, you will visit Maasai Mara Game Reserve to see abundant wildlife. If you visit Maasai Mara during July to September, and if the timing is right, you will witness the migration of more than one and a half millions wildebeest from Serengeti plains to Maasai Mara through Mara River.

The safari will take place in Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara. This reserve is home to over 410 species of birds and 60 species of raptors. It is also one of the world’s finest game viewing destinations. This is because it plays host to an abundance of every form of wildlife possible, except for a few species, which can only be seen north of the Equator.

"Our two week trip to Kenya was absolutely incredible. From the very first contact with Raphael, everything was well-organized and extremely professional. Raphael really showed us the most incredible places in Kenya. We started off at Amboseli, Aberdares, Lake Nakuru, Ol Pajeta, Masia Mara and Lake Naivasha. Our guide, Gerrard was amazing and definitely has hawk eyes, spotting Lions and other game where no one else could see them. Gerrard took care of every little thing, and it really was first class service. We had one small issue during our trip and both Raphael and Gerrard were very quick to deal with the hotel and sorted everything out very promptly. It's not often in today's world that everything is so efficient and runs so smoothly. In fact, we were a little nervous before we left that everything had been so easy and well organized, but trust me this is what sets "East African Exotic Safaris" above anything we have ever experienced. A huge thanks to Gerrard for taking such good care of us and Raphael you are a super star!"

"Our communication with Raphael was from day one efficient. I remember being sceptic at first because it was the first time we were using an Agent to organize a trip for us. But i must say the moment i talked to Raphael on fone all my worries were gone. Raphael organized a super exciting trip for us to Mara. Our stay was at basecamp Mara and it was just all we needed. Simple and yet luxurious in its own way. An eco camp that is only generated with solar energy . Everything is eco friendly and the place is just serene. "

"After the amazing trip to Mara I thought he would be the best to organize our trip to Mombasa. And he did not disappoint. He organized yet another luxurious stay at the voyager beach resort for us. Our many thanks to you Raphael and your team. Especially to Josef who was our driver to and in Maasai Mara. He was a great tour guide. Keep up the good work. Greetings from Austria from me and my husband, Willi."
