You will be accommodated at Miti Mingi Eco Camp in Maasai Mara National Reserve, City Max Hotel in Lake Nakuru, Leisure Apex in Lake Naivasha, and Nyati Safari Camp in Amboseli National Park. You can do a budget campsite with bed and bedding, flash, and private bathrooms with hot showers.

Miti Mingi Eco Camp

The camp is situated within the Masai Mara eco-system and on the banks of Ololaimutia River which is a watering point for most of the wild animals, especially elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, etc. Small and exclusive, it comprises 25 tents.

The tents are furnished with the understated required by the modern traveler. Decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, wrought iron, and crisp cottons, each tent has been meticulously planned to maximize comfort.

Program

Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara National Reserve

At 08:00, you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to depart for Maasai Mara National Reserve, via the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town, where you will have lunch. Upon arrival, you will proceed for a game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver/guide. Today, you will have dinner and stay overnight at the camp.

Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape is a scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. Maasai Mara National Reserve is the best park for game viewing in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range viewing and photography. After the game viewing, have a break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner will be served and you will stay overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park

, After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Nakuru, where you will have lunch en route with scenic views of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha from the main highway. Dinner and overnight today will be at a budget hotel.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park - Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, which is known for its prolific birdlife, including flamingoes. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline. After the game drive, you will proceed to Lake Naivasha. Dinner and overnight today will be at a budget hotel.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha - Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will have a nature walk in Hell’s Gate National Park. Then, you will have lunch and drive to Amboseli National Park. If time permits, there will be a chance for an evening game drive. In the evening, you will have dinner and stay overnight at the camp.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park

Enjoy a full day of game drives in this park which contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes, birds, and Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak can also be seen if the weather conditions permit. You will go on a picnic lunch then return to stay overnight at the camp.

Day 7: Amboseli National Park - Nairobi

You will go on an early morning game drive from 06:00 to 09:00. Then, you will go back to the camp for a full breakfast. Afterwards, you will check out and leave Amboseli National Park either to Emali to connect a bus to Mombasa or to Namanga border to cross to Tanzania. Alternatively, you will be brought back to Nairobi drop off airport or a Nairobi hotel.
