Day 3 Maasai Mara full day

Wake up before dawn for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness a Maasai Mara sunrise. After a quick cup of coffee, you'll head out into the park to watch as the sun sets fire to the savannah and the big cats take advantage of the morning cool to search for a meal.

Alternatively, you can take to the skies with a hot air balloon safari that will see you soar above all of the action before setting down on the plains for a champagne breakfast among the wildlife (at an extra cost of 450 USD per person).

You will be provided with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day game viewing in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. A Masai Mara safari is an unmissable highlight of any holiday in Kenya holiday. There are breathtaking panoramas in every direction, a vast range of wildlife including the Big Five, and a rich cultural heritage to explore. Kenya’s Masai Mara is, without a doubt, one of the greatest safari destinations in Africa.

Between July and October, things get busy in the Great Migration. Millions of zebra and wildebeest make the perilous crossing across the Masai Mara in search of new grazing territory. And in their wake comes a veritable horde of predators including lion and leopard. Your guide will make sure that you get the best photographic opportunities as well as enrich you with the different amazing cultural practices of the local communities of the Maasai people. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge (full board).

Day 4: Maasai Mara - Serengeti

Bid farewell to the Maasai Mara and Kenya after an early breakfast and a morning game drive that takes you to the Isebania border crossing. After the immigration formalities are done, you'll meet your new driver/guide and continue on into the world-famous Serengeti National Park for an afternoon game drive.

Home to huge populations of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes, the picturesque Serengeti is an excellent place to spot predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs as well as herbivores including elephants, hippos, and giraffes. All meals and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge (full board).

Day 5: Serengeti full day

Today will be the “Serengeti game viewing day”. After breakfast this morning, enjoy an amazing game drive. If you are there during the spectacular wildebeest migration, you will be more than astonished.

In the late afternoon, you venture out on another game drive. Everywhere there are animals, monkeys, and, yes, birds…but look closely and you will be thrilled to see the huge jungle cats—lion, leopard, and cheetah—watching the world go by. And go by it does. Rhino, gazelle, antelope, and massive elephants by the hundreds. Animals in the trees, flying, camouflaged in the bush, in rivers, and in streams.

Today you will venture more on migration first around Grumeti River, before proceeding for resident species then return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge. This is the adventure of a lifetime!
