Join Drones Africa Safari for this exciting adventure to three of the best national parks in Kenya. Samburu National Reserve is a rugged and semi-desert park located in the Samburu district in the Rift Valley Province of Kenya. Lake Nakuru Park is known for its prolific bird-life including flamingos, while Mara's enormous reserve is famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration.
Camel’s Gate Lodge can be found in Samburu county, in central Kenya. Located in Archer’s Post, just 10 minutes to Samburu National Park, it is situated in a quiet area a few 100 meters from the Great North Road that connects Kenya and Ethiopia.
One can reach the lodge by road transport, which takes approximately a five to six-hour drive. From Nairobi to the park via air transport, it will take an hour of flying from Nairobi to the close Kalama or Oryx airstrip, then a 30-minute drive to be transferred to the lodge.
The camp is convenient and affordable to guests visiting the area, with its spectacular views stretching across the wilderness and the wildlife, especially elephants, visiting the camp.
Hotel Citymax offers comfortable single, double, and deluxe rooms designed for convenience and efficiency. They also have an in-house restaurant, bar, a gym, and an outdoor swimming pool set in lush gardens.
Each air-conditioned room is equipped with a flat screen television with satellite connection, plug-and-play panels, direct dial international telephone, complementary high-speed Internet access, mini bar, electronic personal safety deposit box, and complementary tea and coffee making facilities. Hair dryers are available on request.
The camp is situated within the Masai Mara eco-system and on the banks of Ololaimutia River, which is a watering point for most of the wild animals, especially elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, etc. This small and exclusive campsite comprises 25 tents.
The tents are furnished with all the amenities required by the modern traveler. Decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, wrought iron, and crisp cotton, each tent has been meticulously planned to maximize comfort. All tents have four-poster beds and mosquito nets, ensuite with shower, water closet, flush toilets, hot and cold running water, and electricity with a voltage of 240 volts.
The safari will start with pick up from your Nairobi hotel or airport, followed by departure north to Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch before taking an afternoon game drive to Samburu Game Reserve.

The reserve is also popular because of its minimum of 900 elephants. Large predators such as the lion, leopard, and cheetah are an important attraction as well. You'll have dinner at the Camel Lodge.
