You will be accommodated in Voi Wildlife Lodge and Ngulia Safari Lodge.
Accommodating up to 300 guests, all of the rooms in Voil Wildlife Lodge have spacious en-suite bathrooms and are furnished in African decor. The luxury rooms comprise two four-poster beds. You can also enjoy the views of the Savannah from the comfort of the balconies or terraces.
Ngulia Safari Lodge is located in Tsavo West National Park. It has 52 rooms facing the vast wilderness and en-suit bathrooms facilities. It is one of the lodges that has a great view of Kilimanjaro and is overlooking the famous largest rhino sanctuary in the world.
You will depart your coast hotel in the morning and drive to Tsavo East National Park by entering through Bachuma Gate. You will then proceed with a game drive in Kenya’s largest wildlife sanctuary to see its abundance of game, then arrive for lunch at Voi Wildlife Lodge. After lunch, you will experience an afternoon game drive. You will then enjoy the dinner and stay overnight there.
After an early breakfast, you will check out from the lodge and proceed for a game drive en route to see the famous Mudanda Rock, a tourist landmark in Tsavo East National Park that has an interesting history. You will then exit the Tsavo East National Park through Manyani Gate and drive to Tsavo River Gate, the entry point of Tsavo West National Park. You will then continue with a game drive and lunch time at Ngulia Safari Lodge. After that, you will experience an afternoon game drive in the rhino sanctuary. You will have dinner and stay overnight in the lodge.
You will depart Ngulia Lodge after breakfast and proceed for a game drive in Tsavo West National Park, which is best known for its prolific wildlife and breathtaking features and landscapes. You will also visit Mzima Springs, a natural aquifer with an underground observatory tank to see crocodiles and hippos. After that, you will check out from the park and drive to Voi Lion Hill Camp to have lunch. After having a lunch, you will drive to your coast hotel and arrive later in the day.
This safari will take place in Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Park, Kenya.
Tsavo West and Tsavo East National Parks forms one of the largest national parks in the world and covers a massive 4% of Kenya’s total land area. The Park is home to most of the larger mammals and vast herds of dus tsuch as red elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, Lesser Kudu, Gerenuk, and Hirola.
The beautiful Aruba dam is located on the north bank of the seasonal Voi River that is visited by thousands of animals and is a great game viewing destination. The Mudanda Rock, a whale-backed rock towers above a natural dam which acts as a draw to thousands of elephants is one of the attractions in the park. There is also the longest lava flow in the world. The heat shimmering edge of yatta plateau is the longest lava flow in the world and an ornithological paradise that attract migrating birds from all over the world.
It also has the Lugards Falls. The falls feature bizarrely eroded rocks through which the waters of the Galana River plunge into foaming rapids and crocodile. Its prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.
The park is located on south eastern of Kenya, 240 kilometers from Nairobi, along the western side of Mombasa-Nairobi highway. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges. Major wildlife attractions here include leopard, cheetah, wild dogs, buffalo, rhino, elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, crocodile, mongoose, hyrax, dik- dik, lesser kudu, and nocturnal porcupine.
It also has prolific birdlife features 600 species. Other major attractions include recent volcanoes, lava flows, and caves with the potential for geological and cave exploration and hiking.
You will be served daily meals and a bottle of mineral water during the safari.
