Game viewing drives in search of wildlife, sightseeing, and cultural encounters fill up the safari days.

Safari leaves from Nairobi but may proceed and finish at the Kenya coast beach resorts of Mombasa, Diani, Watamu or Malindi. Tour is in open top customized safari minivans for ease of game viewing and photography.

Day 1: Mombasa - Tsavo West

Depart the Kenya Coast at 05:30 for the inland Kenya safaris tour via the Mombasa-Nairobi highway. The 240 kilometers, 4-hour journey through tarmac and gravel roads will be broken en-route on a refreshments stopover. You will enter the Tsavo West and commence a game viewing towards the direction of Rhino Valley. After check in, you will freshen up and enjoy a buffet lunch. Here, laws of the jungle apply.

Activities cease when the sun is up. In the late afternoon, you will venture out to the Rhino Sanctuary with some game viewing en-route to try your chances at spotting this endangered species. It’s a game viewing with the throws of the sunset as you head back to your bases for dinner and overnight at Rhino Valley.

Day 2: Tsavo West - Amboseli

Sunset finds you ready and out for your pre-breakfast game viewing drive. You will visit the Mzima Springs and explore on foot this volcanic wonder marveling at the hippos, crocodiles, exotic fish, and tropical vegetation together with resident and migratory bird species. You return to your base for breakfast before checking out and proceeding further south to the Amboseli National Park.

The 2-hour journey on gravel tracks gets you to your accommodation bases in Amboseli. You will check in at Kibo Safari Camp, freshen up, enjoy lunch, and relax bidding your time for the natural circus that awakens when the sun begins its journey down. Your game viewing drive will be short, detailed, and comprehensive. Amboseli is small and sparse of vegetation. Animal spotting is easy and fast.

The Mount Kilimanjaro in its majesty will shear off the clouds. Snow will gleam on its peak and Africa in its entire splendor will be smiling at you. It is a sight to behold, a photographer’s moment for those magical memories. You will return to the base for meals and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.

Day 3: Amboseli - Tsavo East

Dawn at Amboseli is yet another date with Kilimanjaro. You will game watch as you exit after a hearty breakfast. You will have a bumpy start before you re-join the highway, Nairobi-Mombasa, for your last leg, the Tsavo East National Park. Arrive at Ashnil Aruba Lodge for check-in, freshening up, lunch, and relaxation.

Your evening game drive will be slow and appreciative. “No hurry in Africa” is the norm now. No clamor for snaps, you will drink in the serenity of the jungle while reflecting on the essence of nature. Your driver guide will be more informative on animal behavior and keen on pointing out characteristics. You return to your base for dinner and overnight at Ashnil Aruba Lodge.

Day 4: Tsavo East - Mombasa

Dawn finds you ready for your early morning game viewing drive. Tsavo is expansive and open. You will explore this vastness in a relaxed style with more time spent at your sightings. You return to your base and check out.

The last lap of honor will follow in your optional post-breakfast game drive followed by lunch at Voi and a relaxed drive back to the Coast. You will be dropped off at your respective hotels.

Tsavo West National Park

From the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing out of from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness.

The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher's Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below.

Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephants, rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

Amboseli National Park

Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya's most popular parks. The name "Amboseli" comes from a Maasai word meaning "salty dust", and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close.

Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulfur springs, the savannah, and woodlands.

They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.
