Classic Kenya Safari

This 7 days Kenya Highlights include all the classic safari highlights as well as a few lesser-known encounters alongside. Tailoring a tour to coincide with the spectacular wildebeest migration, during July and October, is one such way to ensure your experience gets off to the best possible start.

Program

Witnessing a whole host of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelle, crossing the Mara River and fending off crocodiles in the process, is simply a phenomenal sight and certainly not to be missed during peak season. Elsewhere in Kenya, you’ll discover the Great Rift Valley where volcanic landscapes and hot thermal springs make a visit to the shores of Lake Bogoria another unforgettable highlight.

Of course, finding Lake Nakuru fringed by thousands of pink flamingos can really take some beating alongside the chance to spot Africa’s Big Five easing their thirst around the water’s edge From views of Kilimanjaro during a couple of nights in Amboseli National Park to organic encounters with local Masai communities, who’ve lived and worked in Kenya all their life, this is your chance to tailor a tour of Africa in the most exciting and authentic way possible

Day 1 Nairobi – Masai Mara

Met on arrival at the airport by our tour leader for your holiday briefing who will then introduce you to your driver-guide; depart for the drive to Masai Mara National Reserve arriving in time for lunch at lodge; short siesta before the afternoon game in the reserve in search of game. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 2 Full Day Masai mara

Spend the day on a game drive with morning and afternoon game drive with breakfast and lunch at your lodge/camp. You have an option of having a very early morning breakfast and depart with a picnic lunch so as to spend the entire day on the game drive having not to come back to the camp for meals. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 3 Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

Early breakfast thereafter drives with a game drive out of the reserve for the drive to Lake Nakuru, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives around the lake where you will have a chance to see thousands of flamingos, rhino, and Rothschild giraffe different from the Masai giraffe at Masai Mara, lion, leopard, and buffalo among other. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.

Day 4 Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha

Early game drives in search of more wildlife returning back in time for breakfast. 10AM, depart for the drive to Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon driver to hell’s gate national park which is in the heart of the rift valley with hot springs/volcano as well visit the gorge with a nature guide who will give you in-depth history of the volcano. Dinner and overnight at Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Day 5 Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park

Early morning game drives in search of game around the lake with thousands of flamingo and also the only park you will have guarantee of seeing the rhino in large numbers among other wildlife. After breakfast depart for the drive to Amboseli with lunch in Nairobi. You will arrive at Amboseli in time for late afternoon game drives en-route to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Day 6 Full Day Amboseli

Early morning game drives in search of game and also this will be the best chance to see the famous Mt. Kilimanjaro which is just next to the park. Though Mt. Kilimanjaro is in Tanzania, the best place to see it clearly is in Amboseli more clearly than ever while on the Tanzanian side. You can decide also to have another game drive after breakfast or just relax at the lodge and enjoy the view. You will have an afternoon game drives after lunch. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Day 7 Amboseli – Nairobi

Early breakfast and depart with a short game drive en-route out of the park for the drive back to Nairobi with a drop-off back at the airport.

NOTE: This safari combines very well for those who want to extend to Tanzania safari.

This safari journey will take you to several national parks in Kenya including Maasai Mara National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Naivasha National Park, and Amboseli National Park.

Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park is the other place one can't miss to visit in Kenya where one will see thousands of flamingos and the largest number of rhinos during game drives around the lake. Meanwhile, Samburu National Reserve is known for its rare animals that you will not find in Maasai Mara National Reserve and Lake Nakuru National Park, making this itinerary the only one that can almost complete everything one can see in Kenya.

You will be served daily meals on a full board basis (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Also, on the last day of the safari, you will have lunch at Carnivore Restaurant.

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 22% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
