Marera Valley Lodge
Located between Karatu Town and Rhotia Village, Marera Valley Lodge is close to the main road to Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Lovely country setting and beautifully landscaped, the lodge offers 19 spacious cottages with views and private decks.
Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Lodge
Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp provides its guests with the most authentic Africa experience due to its colonial, old days hunter’s camp ambience. Sitting snugly in a clearing surrounded by Acacia trees its 13 spacious walk-in tents creates an intimate atmosphere for only 40 guests while indulging them with the amenities of a big lodge, as all tents are equipped with running water, flush toilets, hot and cold water shower. In order to protect its amazing environment, the camp runs entirely on solar energy in terms of electricity and hot water supply. A backup generator is only used to ensure electricity supply throughout rainy days.
Program
Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
After early morning breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and then drive to Lake Manyara National Park with a packed hot lunch for a full-day game viewing drive. Lake Manyara National Park is one of the parks where you can see lions climbing trees. Then drive to Marera Valley Lodge for your overnight stay.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti
After early morning breakfast, you will depart to Ngorongoro Crater for a tour with hot lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the only attractions where you will find humans and wildlife living in the same area. Afterwards, depart to Serengeti for evening game viewing drives. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Ttented Lodge or similar.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Karatu
After your early morning breakfast, you will start morning game view and sunrise viewing at Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park is a famous park that provides wildebeest migration and also is home to lots of other wildlife. Enjoy game drives in the endless plain. In the afternoon, drive to Karatu for dinner and your overnight at Marera Valley Lodge or similar.
Day 4: Karatu to Tarangire National Park
Your final day is a great day to visit Tarangire National Park for game drives with a hot lunch. This park owns a large number of elephants, zebras, and baobab trees. You will enjoy game viewing drives and then later drive to Arusha.
