This six-day adventure is one of the most sought-after safari experiences in Tanzania, taking travelers through the Northern Circuit’s top wildlife destinations. If your time in Tanzania is limited, this safari is the perfect way to encounter the Big Five in some of the country’s most iconic parks - including Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. Along the way, you’ll also visit an authentic Maasai village for a cultural experience that offers a deeper connection to Tanzania’s rich heritage.
During this safari trip, you will be staying in various tents except for nights 1 and 5 where you will be staying in Tellamande Hotel Arusha. Budget packages are based on classic camping - each client will have their own private tent and full support from a safari chef and guide.

Experience true wilderness in the heart of the Serengeti. Seronera Public Campsite is surrounded by wildlife and provides a raw, unforgettable experience. You’ll sleep in safari tents, and your cook will prepare delicious meals on-site. Expect basic but functional facilities, with the excitement of being in a real national park — sometimes even hearing hyenas, lions, or elephants during the night.
Perched at a high altitude on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, Simba Campsite A offers jaw-dropping views and a cool highland climate. Though basic in amenities, it provides an unforgettable opportunity to camp on the edge of one of the world’s most dramatic wildlife sanctuaries. Tents are pitched by your guide, and a shared bathroom and dining area are available. You might even see zebras or buffalo grazing near your tent.
Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide and transferred to Arusha, where you can rest and prepare for your upcoming safari adventure. Enjoy a relaxed evening and a good night’s sleep.
Your driver-guide will collect you from your hotel and begin the journey to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a packed lunch in the park, which is well known for its huge elephant population, big cat sightings, a variety of bird species, and ancient baobab trees. The Tarangire River offers a vital water source, attracting a wide range of animals, especially in the dry season.
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the lush farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Once you leave the highlands behind, you’ll enter the vast plains of the Serengeti, the heart of Tanzania’s wilderness.
Travel toward the Seronera region, famed for its rich wildlife and the life-sustaining Seronera River. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife reserves.
Rise early for a sunrise game drive and a picnic breakfast inside the Serengeti. Expect to spot lions, elephants, wildebeests, zebras, crocodiles, and other species during the morning. In the afternoon, begin your drive toward Ngorongoro Crater.
Along the way, stop for a cultural experience at a traditional Maasai village, where you’ll learn about the customs and lifestyle of one of Tanzania’s most iconic tribes. Continue your journey and arrive at Simba Campsite, perched at the crater’s rim, in time for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, elephants, wildebeests, zebras, and hyenas. Following your safari, enjoy a scenic drive back to Arusha, marking the end of the adventure.
