Location

Kakum National Park

Ghana’s tropical rainforest at Kakum National Park is a place for a breathtaking walk across Africa’s most authentic tree-top canopy walkway and a hike along the Kuntan trail to discover herbal medicinal plants and rare tree species with a chance of encountering wildlife in the rainforest.

Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary

This Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary has no fences. The monkeys are here because they want to be. There are two types of monkeys living here. They are the black and white (Geoffroy's) colobus monkey and smaller Campbell's Mona. The colobus lives high up in the trees eating just leaves while the Monas are at lower heights, eating a wide variety of food, including the ones brought by visitors. These smaller monkeys that travel in troupes of 15 - 50 come down to take food like bread and bananas from the hands of visitors.

Ghana

Located in the heart of the world with abundant natural resources, the country is a melting pot of global cultures and influences.
