Immerse in nature and enjoy watching wildlife on the banks of Rio Negro. Join this wildlife tour to interact with pink dolphins, trekking in the jungle, and experience the observation of alligators at night. You will certainly feel amazing witnessing the wildlife and exploring the incredible region of Lago do Acajatuba.
During the tour, you will be staying at the Caboclos House Eco-Lodge, Brazil. The structure, all built in wood, was designed to welcome you after a busy day getting to know the jungle. There is an outside pool and a relaxing hammocks area, surrounded by açaí palm trees.
The bungalows fit up to four people, with one double bed and two single ones. They feature air conditioning, a fan, sheets and towels, besides a private bathroom. It is a practical and comfortable room.
When you arrive in Manaus, you will be transferred to Caboclos House Eco-Lodge which will take one hour by car and one hour by boat. You will have lunch and then go for a boat tour to get to know the forest and watch the wildlife. You will enjoy sunset on Mr Shell’s floating house and have dinner.
Watch sunrise from Rio Negro and later have breakfast. You will go for trekking through the jungle and learn outdoor survival techniques. After lunch, you will experience canoeing through the flooded forest, or igapós (available during wet season), or swimming on the river beach (available during dry season). You will have dinner and then enjoy the night to observe alligators.
After breakfast, you will experience interaction with pink dolphins. After lunch, you will be transferred back to Manaus.
Itinerary may change due to weather conditions and can be adapted due to transfer hours. There are resting times in between tours.
Gabriel was born and raised in the Amazon Rainforest. He has been working as a tour guide for more than a decade and knows everything about the jungle. He will welcome you as one of their own.
Nilde is an entrepreneur, a mother of three daughters and the owner of Caboclos House Ecolodge. Coming from a family of 15 siblings, Nilde has always lived around. She started Caboclos in a small and simple way, and keeps evolving her lodge every year. Nilde can do anything and always has this big smile: she can pilot a boat, play soccer, dance the traditional carimbó, manage her business and the list goes on. She is an amazing cook and impresses her guests with honest, flavory, and typical food. She is the one who will welcome you when you come from Manaus to Caboclos House Eco-Lodge.
Caboclos House Eco-Lodge are located in a riverside community named Santo Antônio, two hours away from Manaus, reached by car and boat. Located in the amazing Lago do Acajatuba, close to Manaus, the bungalow are surrounded by different trees and on the banks of Rio Negro.
The bungalow has a small wood deck in front of the reception, perfect for refreshing divings or a sunset meditation. There is also a medicinal gardening, with herbs and plants. Take some time to walk around and you will be delighted by nature around you.
You will be served daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner. With regional ingredients and typical dishes, Caboclos House Eco-Lodge cook real food with hearts, adapting the menu to your food restrictions. Try typical fruits, amazon fishes, and the famous sandwich x-caboquinho.
In the packages, all meals are included. Don’t forget to try the special caipirinha made with ginger and jambu! Caboclos House Eco-Lodge caters to special dietary requirement such as vegetarian and vegan. Please inform Caboclos House Eco-Lodge in advance regarding your dietary requirement.
If you are interested, you can join cultural DIY workshops such as medicinal gardening, natural cosmetics or handicrafts with the local group Casa Japiim, and cooking Amazon sweet jams. You can also join the indigenous tribe visit with cultural performances.

Please book your flight to arrive at Eduardo Gomes International Airport (MAO). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Caboclos House Eco-Lodge will pick you up from the airport.
Transfer can be done anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.. You and your family or group of friends will choose the time. It takes approximately one hour by car and one hour by boat (it may change slightly due to dry and wet seasons).
In case of flights in the last day, you are recommended to leave at least four hours in advance, guaranteeing you have enough time to take your flight. If you have a flight early in the morning, you should leave one day earlier on the last transfer at 4:00 p.m. and spend the night in Manaus.
