Miti Ming Eco Camp

The camp is situated within the Masai Mara eco-system and on the banks of Ololaimutia River which is a watering point for most of the wild animals especially elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, etc. This small and exclusive campsite comprises of 25 tents. The tents are furnished with all the amenities required by the modern traveler.

Decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, wrought iron, and crisp cotton each tent has been meticulously planned to maximize comfort. All tents have four-poster beds and mosquito nets, en-suite with shower, WC and flush toilets, hot and cold running water, and electricity with a voltage of 240 volts.

Citymax Hotel

Citymax Hotel offers comfortable single, double, and deluxe rooms designed for convenience and efficiency. Each air-conditioned room is equipped with a flat screen television with satellite connection, plug-and-play panels, direct dial international telephone, complimentary high-speed internet access, mini bar, electronic personal safety deposit box, and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities.

Hair dryers are also available on request. They also have an in-house restaurant, bar, a gym, and an outdoor swimming pool set in lush gardens.

Kimana Amboseli Tented Camp

Kimana tents are set among nature, offering a majestic view of two peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro - the ice-capped Kibo and Mawenzi. Situated just outside the Amboseli National Park, the campsite offers comfortable tents and lodges, with a restaurant, a bar, and amazing natural surroundings. The camp offers bed, bedding, hot showers, electricity, and mosquito nets.

Program

Day 1 - Drive from Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from your hotel for an orientation session at eight in the morning. Post which you will depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve via the view point of the great Rift Valley and stopover at Narok town for lunch.

Upon arrival, you will proceed for a game drive in the reserve, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver and guide. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Miti Mingi Eco Camp, located just outside the Masai Mara National Reserve. The camp offers bed, bedding, electricity, hot showers, and mosquito nets.

Day 2 - Full day at Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast you will proceed for a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savanna grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography.

Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Miti Mingi Eco Camp, located just outside the Masai Mara National Reserve. The camp offers bed, bedding, electricity, hot showers, and mosquito nets.

Day 3 - Drive from Masai Mara National Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park

you will enjoy the masai culture at masai village then depart to the Mara region for Nakuru, lunch en-route, with scenic views of Mount Longmont and Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway. You will arrive in the evening and will be dropped off at the Citymax Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 - Game drive in Lake Nakuru and transfer to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, known for its prolific bird life including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline.

Later, you will drive to Amboseli National Park. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Kimana Campsite, situated just outside the national park. The camp offers bed, bedding, hot showers, electricity, and mosquito nets.

Day 5 - Full day at Amboseli National Park

Today you will enjoy a full day of game drives in Amboseli National Park, which contains swamp grounds, bathing elephants, and hippos. Here you can see a variety of plains game, antelopes, birds, and Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak if weather conditions permit.

You will have a picnic lunch at the park and will then return at dinner time to Kimana Campsite, situated just outside the national park. The camp offers bed, bedding, hot showers, electricity, and mosquito nets.

Day 6 - Drive from Amboseli National Park to Nairobi

You will enjoy an early morning game viewing in the Amboseli National Park and will then return to the camp for breakfast. Later, you will drive back to Nairobi.

If you wish to proceed to Mombasa for a beach holiday, Budget Holiday Safaris will drop you off at Emali to board a bus to Mombasa, or at the airport to get you on a connecting flight to Mombasa.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve has a scenic landscape made up of savannah grasslands on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. The game reserve is famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and its annual migration of the wildebeest which occurs from July to October.

The reserve also supports various other animal species and birdlife and has a hippo pool, where you can be looking out for hippos and crocodiles.

Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru Park is known for its prolific bird life including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino, while species like the cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline.

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park contains swamp grounds, bathing elephants, and hippos. A variety of plains game, antelopes, birds, and Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak can be seen if weather conditions are good.

Food

You will be served three daily meals along with drinking water during the course of the safari, with an exception of the first day when only lunch and dinner will be served. Also, you will be served only breakfast and dinner on the last day of the safari.
