Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Budget Holiday Safaris will arrange your pick up either from the airport or your Nairobi hotel and transfer you to Budget Holiday Safaris' office, be introduced to the guide and other group members. From 8:30 to 8:45 a.m. depart for Masai Mara with the first stop at the viewpoint for the view of the escarpment wall.
Later descend the escarpment and travel on to Narok town for early lunch. You will arrive at Miti Mingi Eco Camp at around 3 p.m., check-in followed by an evening game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve
Breakfast at the camp then before 8 a.m. leave the camp with packed lunch for extensive nine hours of game viewing. Maasai Mara has the highest number of different species and you will be lucky to see hundreds of them. A game drive to Mara River is compulsory, if it will be migration time you will witness the same otherwise you will see crocodiles and hippos at the river.
Picnic lunch inside the park then continues with the game drive till 5 p.m. Leave the park for at least 2 hours of optional activity. You will relax at the camp, take a nature walk with Masai warriors, or visit the Masai village. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park
Haven an early morning game drive from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m., back to the camp for a full breakfast. Check out and leave Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru with lunch en-route, a view of Mount Longonot, and optional activity at Lake Naivasha if interested. You will arrive in Nakuru Town in the evening. Check-in at Citymax Hotel for Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park to Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Lake Nakuru which is famous for the endangered species of rhinos and flamingos. Sometime the flamingos are very few but you are guaranteed of seeing the rhinos among other Big Five. Lake Nakuru is not a big park and within four hours you will have seen enough.
Later, leave the park with lunch en route and drive back to Amboseli National Park. You will arrive at the Amboseli gate in the evening and check-in at Amboseli Kimana Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Amboseli National Park
After breakfast at the camp, leave with a picnic lunch for a full-day game viewing. You will have your picnic lunch at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro and continue with the game drive till 5 p.m. You see the jumbo elephants of Amboseli among other great animals. Back to the camp for optional activity at the camp. Later, have dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Amboseli National Park to Namanga Border to Arusha
Early in the morning have a cup of tea or coffee then proceed for the morning game drive, enjoy the sunrise and take great pictures. For the two nights in Amboseli, you will be able to see Mount Kilimanjaro which is the highest peak in Africa.
From 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. back to the camp for a full breakfast. Check out and drive to the Namanga border where you will catch the shuttle bus for Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Arusha Center Inn Hotel for bed and breakfast.
Day 7: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
After a briefing about the safari, you will be introduced to your guide and other group members then depart Arusha for Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival check-in, choose either to have an early lunch or proceed for a game drive with packed lunch.
Lake Manyara is one of Tanzania's most dramatically located wildlife areas hosting thousands of animal species. Track the tree-climbing lions and view the flocks of Flamingos before returning back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti National Park
Serengeti is located in the northern part of Tanzania and is widely known for the massive annual migration of the wildebeest and Zebras which move from one point to another in search of a new grazing area. Some cross the Grumeti River while others veer northeast to Lobo Hill’s home for the black Rhino and black eagles.
Have an early breakfast at the Panorama Camp, meet the guide, and depart Lake Manyara for Serengeti arriving in time for lunch. Enjoy a little siesta followed by an afternoon game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Camp.
Day 9: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
Have an early morning game drive from 6:30 a.m. or have breakfast and leave for a game drive, track the various animals that inhabit this park. At around 10 to 11 a.m., leave Serengeti via the Olduvai Gorge museum to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at Ngorongoro later in the evening for dinner and overnight at Simba Camp.
Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Enjoy breakfast at the camp then leave for a six-hour game drive to the crater. Ngorongoro is a conservancy and all the vehicles are allowed to spend only six hours as per the Tanzania Ministry of Tourism. Descend the crater with game viewing, this is one of the seven wonders and you will surely enjoy the game drive.
Ngorongoro hosts the remaining few Black Rhinos among other thousands of animals that can be seen here, Have a picnic lunch at the crater rim later and ascend to the gate and drive back to Arusha. Drop off at your Arusha hotel.
Day 11: Arusha to Nairobi
After breakfast, you will be transferred by shuttle bus back to Nairobi. Budget Holiday Safaris will give you the option either to catch the morning shuttle or afternoon shuttle. Upon arrival at Nairobi, you will be dropped off at the airport or your Nairobi hotel.
