During this tour, you will be staying at a base camp at Arugam Bay Star Rest Hotel on the first night. On the second night, you will stay on Kumana National Park Beach at a tented camp. Feel free to fully utilize the amenities and facilities provided by the accommodation, such as their laptop rental, board rental, car rental, free parking for guests, laundry services, and tour assistance. There are also ATMs nearby and currency exchange services for your convenience.
Bask in the Sri Lankan sun from your terrace and enjoy the local delicacies at the restaurants around the area. For the single room, you will have your own hammock, mosquito net, standing or ceiling fan, single and twin beds, and a private terrace. Single and double rooms also have air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, free toiletries, free Wi-Fi, a desk wardrobe or closet, an outdoor shower, a patio, room cleaning, and laundry service.
Program
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at your base camp
You will arrive at the base camp at Star Rest Hotel in Arugam Bay. You may want to go on a village tour in the sunset, experiencing the local life. Drinks and dinner will be provided by the outside fireplace or under lantern light. Accommodation will be in an air-conditioned room.
Day 2: Evening game drive
Wake up early in the morning for breakfast and tea. Afterward, enjoy a surf lesson on Elephant Rock Beach. After resting, have lunch in the village. Go on an afternoon safari drive until sunset for leopard, bear, elephant, crocodile, deer, buffalo, and bird spotting. A sunset dip in the ocean can also be arranged if you wish. Dinner will be provided at the base camp, under lantern light.
Day 3: Goodbyes
If you wish, you can go on another morning safari drive after breakfast and return to the camp for lunch. Afterward, you may set off on your travels.

Ansa Moha
Ansa Mohamed is a Arugambay. He has been a licensed safari guide since 2003. He enjoys learning new languages and is always seeking to improve his Spanish and French speaking skills. His love of history, and particularly as to how it relates to the Sri Lanka, led him to take a trip to Sal where he further increased his knowledge as to how vast the influence of the Sri Lankan culture is. Amongst his various interests are listening to music, reading, and exploring the various regions of upstate Safari.

Sal is a East Sri Lanka born who extensively traveled the country. He is competent to advise clients about all the essential aspects of traveling to East Sri Lanka. Having passed the SA Specialist Course from East Sri Lanka Tourism, he is always on the lookout to assist, improve the environment, and motivate communities to protect nature and all species in order to create a sustainable eco-system for future generations. His love for nature and history brought him to the most beautiful and spectacular places of East Sri Lanka where he wants to take his tourists as well.

Ravi is an experienced tour guide and has been working as a guide for 14 years. He knows a lot about nature and customer care.

This wildlife tour will take place in Kumana National Park, Sri Lanka.
