Night 1: Voi Safari Lodge
Perched on the top of a cliff-faced hill, Voi Safari Lodge is uniquely designed to be a hinge-like structure overlooking Kenya's Tsavo East plains extending as far as the undulating terrain of the Yatta Plateaus.
This vantage positioning of the lodge has made it a stopover for many safari adventures, nature lovers, and holidaymakers who are assured of sampling Kenya's wildlife attractions that continuously beat a track to the three water holes sunk by the ledge below the cliff.
The lodge is also popular with the travelers who pass along the Mombasa - Nairobi highway. It is located 165 kilometers from Mombasa and has the advantage of being within a park that is served with a good infrastructure including communication facilities.
Voi Safari Lodge has 52 en-suite standard rooms with three stories and stands in proud contrast to its rocky surroundings. Voi Safari Lodge's swimming pool has a view of wildlife at the waterholes and the plains beyond. The unique dug up rock swimming pool has crystal clear water which invites to a refreshing dip after a dusty day on Kenya safari.
Voi Safari Lodge also has a restaurant serving good food on a buffet basis and a well-stocked bar with smashing views. The surroundings of the lodge are dotted by wild and planted flora that stands out beautifully and liven up the rocky terrain.

Night 2: Ngulia Safari Lodge
Ngulia Safari Lodge, built in 1969, is located in Tsavo West National Park, which is home to a big host of wild animals. It can be accessed from Nairobi (260 kilometers away), through Mtito Andei Gate, or from Mombasa (250 kilometers away) through Tsavo River Gate.
The lodge is perched on the Ndawe Escarpment just below Ngulia Hills, overlooking the rhino sanctuary surrounded by scenic hills. You will spend your second night there. Ngulia Safari Lodge no doubt has one of the most breathtaking views in Kenya. It has 52 standard rooms, all equipped with a bath and shower, as well as a balcony with a view of the vast wilderness and floodlit waterholes.
The hotel has two restaurants. The main restaurant, built in an open-air style, has a view of floodlit waterholes and the Leopard dining tree. There is also the Leopard view bar open in the evenings before the arrival of the leopards from the wilderness. Guests can enjoy their meals as they watch the leopards feast, the other animals drink water and make love, and the birds compete in their melodies.
