Pop-up hatch roofs allow all passengers better game viewing, sightseeing, and photography. Due to a variety of factors, smoking is not permitted in the safari vehicles. However, regular stops can be arranged for you to enjoy your cigarette.
The van has 8 seats although Bruno Safaris allows maximum of six passengers in each van thus each passenger is guaranteed a window seat. This safari will take place at Amboseli National Park. Amboseli as a safari destination hosts large elephant herds, the big cats, herbivores, and numerous bird species including ostrich and a variety of plains game. Amboseli National Park lies immediately northwest of Mount Kilimanjaro, on the border with Tanzania.
The park covers 392 square kilometers, and forms part of the much larger 3,000-square-kilometer Amboseli ecosystem. Large concentrations of wildlife occur here in the dry season, making Amboseli a popular safari reserve.
Amboseli National Park embodies five main wildlife habitats (open plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush country, swamps, and marshland) and covers part of a Pleistocene lake basin. Within the basin is a temporary lake, Lake Amboseli, that floods during years of heavy rainfall. Amboseli National Park has over 80 different mammals to be found ranging from tiny (and rarely seen) spectacle elephant shrew to the huge bulk of the African elephant. There are also over 400 bird species.
You will be served daily meals during your safari. Place you will be staying at offers different kind of food, from vegetarians to non-vegetarians. East Africa offers an impressive range of foods and drinks to suit all visitors needs from vegetarian diets to full course meals.
A traveler is almost guaranteed to find a mouth-watering buffet with a wide variety of meats to fresh salads and drinks. The food is relatively safe to try which caters for international tourists. Soft drinks and alcohol are also readily available, cheap and safe to drink. Let Bruno Safaris know your dietary requirements in advance.
