The Flamingo Hill Camp is comprised of 25 small and exclusive tents. Decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, wrought iron, and crisp cottons, each tent has been meticulously planned to maximize comfort. All the tents have the following facilities:
The type of safari vehicle to be used is a safari minibus (van) or 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser (Jeep). All of the vehicles have rear rack for your luggage which leaves the inside of the vehicle uncluttered for you to move around freely and capture some great photos. Pop-up hatch roofs allow all passengers better game viewing, sightseeing, and photography. Due to a variety of factors, smoking is not permitted in the safari vehicles. However, regular stops can be arranged for you to enjoy your cigarette.
The van has 8 seats although Bruno Safaris allows a maximum of six passengers in each van thus each passenger is guaranteed a window seat. Meanwhile, the 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser (Jeep) is specially made for rainy season since it does deal with inconveniences of getting stuck in the rough countryside during your safari. You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or airport to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will reach it in time for lunch while experiencing a stunning en route game drive. After lunch at your safari lodge, you will go for an afternoon safari game drive to see one of the largest ornithological spots, flamingo, and a variety of wildlife not forgetting the famous rhino sanctuary found in this park. After that, you will have dinner and stay overnight at the lodge.
You will wake up to an early morning game drive after which you will have you breakfast. You will leave Lake Nakuru for Nairobi after breakfast and arrive in time for lunch. You will have your lunch at Nairobi Carnivore restaurant. Afterward, you will be dropped off at your respective Nairobi hotel or airport.
This safari will take you to Lake Nakuru National Park. This park is home to up to 1.5 million flamingos plus 450 other species of species of birds, lion, leopard, buffalo, Thompson’s and Grant's gazelle, the rare long-eared leaf-nosed bat, colobus monkey, rock hyrax, hippo, waterbuck, impala, gazelle, stripped hyena, bat-eared fox, wild cat, reedbuck, golden cat, and the endangered reticulated giraffe among other animals. The park also contains Kenya’s largest population of rhinos.
Lake Nakuru, located within the Lake Nakuru National Park, is a shallow strongly alkaline lake set in a picturesque landscape of surrounding woodland and grassland. The landscape includes areas of marsh and grasslands alternating with rocky cliffs and outcrops, stretches of acacia woodland, and rocky hillsides covered with a Euphorbia forest. During peak season, over one million flamingos congregate on the lake plus half a million pelicans.

At Flamingo Hill Camp, the restaurant seats approximately 80 people comfortably and serves a buffet breakfast and lunch. Dinner is a mix of table d’hote or buffet style. Their experienced chefs will prepare meals to tantalize your taste buds. Your breakfast will be served between 06.00 a.m. and 09.30 a.m. while your lunch will be served at 12.30. p.m. to 02.30 p.m. Meanwhile, your dinner will be served between 07.00 p.m and 09.30 p.m.
The bar at the camp is well stocked with local as well as imported beverages. You can treat yourself to the famous flamingo hill cocktails at an extra cost whilst relaxing in their comfortable and open lounge with a view of the plains.
