During this safari trip, you will be staying in various accommodations in a shared double room.
Kati Kati is a mobile camp strategically situated in central Serengeti, ideal for exploring the extensive Serengeti plains. The camp offers comfortable accommodation together with the unique opportunity to enjoy a real safari experience on a camp. In its comfortable tents one will feel completely immersed in the surroundings and one can enjoy the rich animal life and vegetation of the area.
An original form of accommodation which resembles the old camps of the first explorers in Africa, with all the commodities of today. Located a two hour drive along a panoramic route from the Olduvai Museum and the river Grumeti, two of the indispensable visits for all travelers to Tanzania. The camp has been designed to cause a minimum impact on the environment. All of the infrastructure is mobile and the philosophy of the company is not to leave anything behind.
Though accessible, Arusha National Park is not on many safari itineraries. This is mainly because it does not offer a chance of seeing the Big Five. The park is at the base of Mount Meru, which is good for climbing forest-home of the black and white colobus monkey and excellent for birding.
Other animal viewing are the buffalo, giraffes, and several biggest antelopes. Also several lakes often host flock of flamingos. The park’s size is 553 kilometers square feet. You will stay the night at Momela Wildlife Lodge.
It is probably one of great parks in Tanzania, relatively small and not crowded as Serengeti and other national parks. Up to 300 elephants can be found, looking for underground streams in the dry riverbeds. You can also see migratory wildebeest, baboons, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, gazelles, hartebeest, and eland are shrinking lagoons.
Antelope, such as fringe eared Oryx and long necked gerenuk are also present but rare to see. All main predators are common and can be seen easily. The park size is 2850 square kilometers. You will stay the night at Osupuko Tented Lodge.
It is a small park at the base of the Rift Valley Escarpment. This park is known for its large elephant population, the big cats are present, but not seen easily. The forest patch is home to habituated troops of baboons, blue and velvet monkeys, buffaloes, giraffe, and several antelope species are easily encountered on a drive. The park size is 450 kilometers square feet. You will stay overnight at Eileens Lodge Karatu.
The Serengeti offers so of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. The major safari animals occur in great numbers. Cheetah and four of the big five are easily seen, but rhino sightings are rare and only black rhino are present. Every year, over two million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle migrate from Serengeti to Masai Mara in Kenya.
If you are there at the time, you can spot herds of wildebeest and zebras stretching to horizon. The park size is 14,762 kilometers square feet. You will stay the night at Thorn tree Tented Lodge.
Ngorongoro Crater offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa, all the major safari animals occur in great numbers, the resident population of black rhino are very difficult to spot elsewhere in Tanzania. The crater is also home some impressive elephant bulls with huge tasks. Lake Magadi often harbors large flocks of flamingos. The view to the crater is stunning beautiful. The park size is 8,228 kilometers square feet. You will stay the night at Rhino Lodge.
In a dry season, the lake goes shallow but so much birdlife throughout the year. Apart from that, there is a lot of attractions to see, starting up with the primitive tribes in Tanzania are found there. The datoga, the hadzabe who depend on hunting and gathering and of course cause you will be able to go hunt them. The black smith are also living in the area as you will also have the opportunity to visit the onion fields. You will stay the night at Twiga lodge
The safari will end in Arusha.
