Located inside the Samburu National Reserve in Northern Kenya, Samburu Sopa lodge is built atop high ground allowing panoramic views of the vastness of Samburu shrub land and the hills beyond. Fifteen cottages, each with two bedrooms are built in an arch formation on either side of the public areas to surround the waterhole but leaving a wide gap to allow the animals free movement to the water.

Eseriani Resort is based in Naivasha, within the Rift valley and situated along Moi South Lake Road.
Set on 200 acres of private land and with a rustic charm all of its own, the lodge nestles in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro which, at almost six thousand meters, is Africa’s highest and most famous snow-capped mountain.
Amboseli Sopa Lodge is set within mature wooded gardens with a wide variety of trees and plants which include thorn trees, Acacias, fragrant Frangipanis, colorful bougainvillea, and giant cacti which all thrive in these surroundings. The gardens are also home to numerous species of birds, as well as monkeys, mongooses, squirrels, duikers, the occasional gazelle and, once in a while, even an ever inquisitive leopard.
Rustic, well spaced cottages meander through the vast expanse of the mature gardens and house the eighty three guest rooms. These are all brightly decorated with Maasai themed wall murals, and each room has been purposely built to contain either one or two queen sized beds, as well as a veranda.
Ngulia Safari Lodge, built in 1969, is located in Tsavo West National Park, which is home to a big host of wild animals. It can be accessed from Nairobi (260 kilometers away), through Mtito Andei Gate, or from Mombasa (250 kilometers away) through Tsavo River Gate. The lodge is perched on the Ndawe Escarpment just below Ngulia Hills, overlooking the rhino sanctuary surrounded by scenic hills.
Ngulia Safari Lodge no doubt has one of the most breathtaking views in Kenya. It has 52 standard rooms, all equipped with a bath and shower, as well as a balcony with a view of the vast wilderness and floodlit waterholes.
It has two restaurants. The main restaurant, built in an open-air style, has a view of floodlit waterholes and the Leopard dining tree. There is also the Leopard view bar open in the evenings before the arrival of the leopards from the wilderness. Guests can enjoy their meals as they watch the leopards feast, the other animals drink water and make love, and the birds compete in their melodies.
Your driver guide will pick you up at the airport or your hotel in Nairobi. After the meet and greet, he will escort you to your car and commence the drive to Samburu National Reserve arriving for lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge. After check in and lunch, you will go for an afternoon game drive or an optional visit to a local Samburu village at 16:00 and return to the lodge before dusk for dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
After early breakfast at the lodge at 07:00, join your safari driver guide and depart for a full day game viewing drive with picnic lunch boxes to Samburu National Reserve, famous for its truly wild semi-arid landscape, and the large concentration of wild animals and bird-life.
Together with the adjoining Shaba and Buffalo Springs National Reserves, Samburu is popular for hosting the rare Northern-Kenya animal species (gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, and Somali ostrich) which are not found in the other popular parks and reserves in Kenya.
It is also home to all the African big cats (lion, cheetah, and leopard), alongside other big game including elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, hippos, impala, water-buck, and many others.
Samburu is also a renowned birdwatching haven, with hundreds of bird species resident here. These include kingfisher, bee-eaters, tawny eagle, guinea-fowl, yellow throated spur-fowl, lilac-breasted roller, red-billed hornbill, secretary bird, Verreaux’s eagle, superb starling, yellow-billed hornbill, and vultures.

After breakfast, drive to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in time for lunch and relax with the beautiful scenery as your backdrop. After check in and lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive in the conservancy.
The conservancy is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including the big five (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, and buffalo) as well as smaller species. In fact, Sweet Waters has the highest ratio of game to the acreage of any Kenyan park or reserve, making for outstanding game-watching.
You will have dinner and accommodation at Comfort Gardens Sweet Waters.
Depart Ol Pejeta after breakfast and head to Nakuru, arriving for check in and lunch. Relax after lunch and settle in before joining your safari driver guide for an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park.
The park is famous for the flocks of the greater and lesser flamingo that gather around the lake numbering around 2 million, which turns the lake pink. This has given the lake a nickname; the pink lake. The endangered rhino and Rothschild giraffe are found in the park. Other animals found in the park include African buffalos, zebras, impalas, olive baboons, vervet monkeys, waterbucks, hyenas, jackals, and hippopotamus among many others.
Exit the park for dinner and overnight stay at Sarova Woodlands Hotel and Spa.
After early breakfast at the hotel at 07:00, join your safari driver guide and depart for for Hell's Gate visit and here you may also enjoy bike rides. You can also opt to do a boat ride at 40 USD per person in Lake Naivasha. You will have dinner and overnight stay at Eseriani Resort.
Early breakfast at the resort, followed by check out in the morning then drive to Amboseli. Amboseli National Park is renowned for its abundant wildlife, ranging from large herds of elephants to lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and numerous bird species. It is also famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains.
Arrive at the lodge for lunch and check in. Later on, enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, and hippo with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.
You will wake up to amazing views of Mount Kilimanjaro if the weather permits. On this day, you will embark on a full day game drive in this wonderful park where Mount Kilimanjaro’s background offers good photographic scenery. It is coupled with animals on the ground, the Big Five, herds of elephants, and the prolific birdlife in this African wilderness park. Return for dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Tsavo West National Park. Tsavo West is a more popular destination on account of its magnificent scenery, Mzima Springs, rich and varied wildlife, and rhino reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and check in at Ngulia Safari Lodge. You will have lunch and a short rest before you go for the afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge.
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Emali for your train to Mombasa or to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (Nairobi) for your flight home.
