Bison Safaris will provide you full board accommodation at Lenchada Tourist Camp which is located just outside the gates of Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya.
You will be picked up at your Nairobi hotel and commence driving to Maasai Mara National Reserve via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you will have a breathtaking view of its floor. You will stop for hot lunch in Narok. Then, you will proceed your journey to the reserve. Upon arrival and check in, you will depart for late afternoon game drive in the reserve. Later in the evening, you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight at Lenchada Tourist Camp.
After breakfast, you will depart with picnic lunch for a full day game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve until to the point of wildebeests migration. Hopefully, luck will be on your side and you can have the greatest opportunity to witness the crossing. Have your camera ready to capture the lifetime moments. Moreover, you will be able to see the Big 5 of the reserve's wildlife like elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards, and cheetah among many more animals in the reserve. Later in evening, you will return back to the camp for your dinner and stay overnight at Lenchada Tourist Camp.
You can have optional activities on this day. In the evening, you can visit Masai village for a Masai cultural tour. You can learn about the community and interact with the local people. An overnight at the village can be organized upon request. Furthermore, a balloon safari can be organized in the early morning on this day followed by the normal program.
You will enjoy the last early morning game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve followed by breakfast. Thereafter, you will commence driving back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be dropped at your Nairobi hotel or at the airport. This will mark the end of the tour and hopefully, you really enjoy your trip.
Masai Mara National Reserve is the most popular tourism destinations in Kenya. The reserve is located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife tends to be concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. This reserve is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1,5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti National Park migrate in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predator of the savannah such as lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.
