The accomodation and the other groupmembers were very nice. Also the Full Day Game Drive was wonderful. Visiting the Masai Village was also very interesting. It was not as touristic as I thought, but quite authentical. We had a very good driver.

The first thing was, that the drivre showed up 1 1/2 hours later, so that we lost this time on the first day for our Game Drive. He supposed to pick me up at 10. Also the program didn't make very much sense. I don't know why we didn't met at 7 in the morning or something so we could have made a half day Game Drive at the first day and not just 2 hours in the evening. 80$ entrance fee for 2 hours is way too high. But of course Muzungus are all rich, and don't care about money. The second thing was that the driver didn't stopp for birds or stopped too late so that they flew away. Although the driver had some knowledge about the animals, we mostly had to ask for more details. He didn't really seem to be a wildlife enthusiast. Also the third day we stayed in the park for about 3 hours. That is still too less. I think next time I will organize the safari by myselfe. Because if I have to pay 80$, I want to stay in the park the whole day. Furthermore everybody told us something else where the money goes to. It is easier to pay so much money when you know where it goes to and that the money is needed to run a park like this. The same with Nakuru. 60$ for a park of that size is really much. But if you explain to me, that you need the money for protecting for example the rhinos 24/7 or something else, it is okay for me. So there are a lot of things which should be improved..

First time to Kenya but not the last. Thank you Magdalena and Anthony of BigMac Safaris for making my first safari to the game Parks of Kenya an unforgettable experience. Born in South Africa and having experienced many safaris in South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Namibia, I have finally achieved a lifelong bucket list - the wildebeest migration and the flamingos. My choice of lodges were excellent, with good accommodation and good food. Anthony came to meet us at the airport and seeing his friendly face immediately put me at ease. We visited the Masaai Mara, wildebeest migration, Lake Nakuru, flamingos, Samburu, samburu 5, Ol Pejeta rhinos and chimps, and Ambeseli Mount Kilimanjaro, even managed to visit Masaai and Samburu villages to experience their hospitality and culture. The wildlife was spectacular - lion prides, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo. Even saw a serval. Thank you Anthony as you made my trip so memorable. I could even charge our devices in the 4 x 4 and listen to my iPod music. You were always aware that there were others in the vehicle and your driving through the heavy traffic from time to time was another example of your skills. I highly recommend this wildlife company with excellent services. Can’t wait to see you all again.

BigMac runs a professional and enjoyable safari. I went on the three-day wildebeest migration safari in the Masai Mara. Anthony, our driver, went out of his way to give us the best photographic opportunities. We got close to a leopard, saw several cheetahs atop a photographer's van, and drove alongside herds of migrating zebras - and were often among the first companies to reach the scene. In addition to the usual lions, elephants and giraffes, the above shots really exceeded my expectations. Given that I booked the budget option, the lodging was comfortable and the food decent. When one member of my group complained the first night about the bathroom, BigMac rebooked us into a different camp for the second night. They were attentive to our needs. I highly recommend them to anyone going on a Masai Mara safari.

We booked with Bigmac for a three day, two night tour of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. They kept in contact with us all the way through the process. They were very accommodating by picking us up at our bus station. Our driver and guide, Lawrence, took us to an ATM to get shillings and then to a restaurant to have something to eat before our drive to the reserve. During the drive, he would give us information about the Great Rift. We stopped and had lunch (provided by BigMac) and were able to shop a little bit. We then traveled the rest of the way to the reserve. The accommodation were a lot better than we were expecting. Tents sleeping two to three with nets, shower, and toilet. We had tea and immediately head out to the reserve. It took about half an hour to reach the reserve from the camp and on the first day we had almost seen all of the animals. Lawrence did an awesome job at getting as close as he could for pictures and giving us information about all the different animals. The food at the camp was very well prepared and tasted delicious. Having hot water for showers were also a plus. The second day was filled with even more animals. The rhino and leopard are the two most difficult animals to see and we found both. Lawrence able to get us an awesome view of the leopard before it disappeared and the rhino was too far to get any good pictures but he had binoculars for us to see him at a distance. We then had our lunch under a tree in the shade. Some of our team didn't find the packed lunch super appetizing but it held you over until dinner. The last day we went to the reserve for a short time and then made our way back to Nairobi. Lawrence stop at any of the souvenir shops that we wanted to go back to and then back to a restaurant to eat before we got on our bus to leave. This was an amazing experience for us all and truly did not want to leave on the last day. I would recommend BigMac for a great African safari.

We booked with BigMac Africa Safaris for a tour of the Masai Mara Game Reserve two months ago. From the beginning, everything about the tour was well organised. The arrangements for the meals and the accommodation during the safari were excellent. The staff were professional, very helpful, and knowledgeable about the wildlife in the Masai Mara. Special thanks to Magdalene. I would certainly recommend BigMac Africa Safaris for a truly memorable Kenyan safari.
