During this safari, you will be accommodated in various accommodations including Lake Nakuru Lodge on the first night, Mara Sopa Lodge on the second and third night, Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge on the fourth night, Sentrim Amboseli on the fifth and sixth night, Severin Safari Camp for the seventh night, and Ashnil Aruba Lodge for the last night.

Severin Safari Camp

The Severin Safari Camp is located in Tsavo West National Park, the biggest game reserve in East Africa, about 250 kilometers from Mombasa and Nairobi. With a view to Mount Kilimanjaro, it offers a unique landscape with vast savannahs, wooded floodplains and the famous “red” elephants. At Severin Safari Camp, comfort and friendly service await you amidst the African wilderness. The camp has been certified with the seal of approval by TÜV Rhineland (Germany) for its first-class service and spa quality.

It offers 27 luxuriously equipped accommodations and eight bandas which are self-catering, all located within 25 hectares of bushland. Unique à la carte menus with a choice of finest African wines await you in the restaurant. The chef is famous for his meat specialties which are prepared on a hot stone or as fondue. End your day at the campfire while enjoying a glass of wine and watching the animals wandering around in the twilight. Protecting the natural resources is one of the main goals of the Severin Safari Camp. They have therefore developed a program which is environmentally friendly.

Ashnil Aruba Lodge

Ashnil Aruba Lodge is located on the bank of the Voi River overlooking the Aruba Dam, in Tsavo East National Park. Since Aruba Dam attracts many animals the lodge is perfectly suited for game watching which is also possible from the pool. Ashnil Aruba Lodge has 40 modern en-suite double rooms and well-appointed restaurant, bar, and swimming pool looking across the dam. The open sitting restaurant located in the main building overlooks the dam at all angles and serves a variety of food.

Program

Day 1: Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park - Lake Nakuru Lodge

After breakfast, you will have a first highlight of the tour, the Lake Nakuru National Park. Here, you'll visit Lake Nakuru as the most well-known lake of the Rift Valley. For being famous all over the world for its flamingos, the lake is one of the natural wonders of the world. At times, there are up to 2 million flamingos at the lake, which forms a beautiful pink ribbon around the shore. In addition to seeing this amazing scenery, you will also have a good chance of seeing rhinos and leopards. From your lodge, you'll have a magnificent view over the lake.

Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve - Mara Sopa Lodge

After an early safari and breakfast, you'll drive to the Maasai Mara. It is considered as one of the largest and most beautiful protected areas of Kenya and reveals an insight into the originality of Africa. After lunch on-site, you'll embark on the first game drive through the savannah landscape of the Maasai Mara National Reserve, with a good chance to track down the Big Five (elephant, buffalo, lion, rhino, and leopard).

Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve - Mara Sopa Lodge

After breakfast, you'll embark on a full day game drive in the Maasai Mara. It is famous for its savannah landscape and its wildlife. The prospects are good to observe all those fascinating animals that can usually only be seen in numerous nature documentaries. You will have a picnic at the Mara River, bordering the Serengeti. The river is part of the Maasai Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, which is particularly known for the largest wildlife migration on earth in the world. Every year, the huge animal trains cross the brown, foaming river full of crocodiles.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha - Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge

After breakfast, you'll drive to Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha is the highest and most beautiful lake in the Rift Valley. You'll arrive, check in, and have your lunch. After lunch, you will have some time to relax before taking a boat tour of the lake where you will enjoy very beautiful views and watch most of the aquatic birds found in this lake. Overnight and dinner at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park - Sentrim Amboseli

You'll drive to the Amboseli National Park arriving at Sentrim Amboseli in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you are free to relax at the pool or watch the animals at the waterhole. You can take an optional walk through the Maasai villages around guided by a local Maasai. Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Amboseli Camp.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park - Sentrim Amboseli

Full day game drives in Amboseli National Park, this park has the best areas to observe elephants at close quarters. The park has some swamplands in which animals are most likely to be seen. From the park, one can enjoy stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the most beautiful mountain in Africa which makes a very beautiful background for your photos. Look out for zebras, wildebeests, Thomson's gazelles, Grant's gazelle, buffalos, waterbucks, hippos, lions, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas.

You'll reach the observation hill from which you'll have a magnificent view over swamp and savannah landscape of the whole park. This is where you will have picnic lunch. You'll further continue with your game viewing and as the sun is going down, then return to the Sentrim Amboseli for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Tsavo West National Park - Severin Safari Camp

After breakfast, you'll drive to Tsavo West National Park. On arrival to the park, you'll enter and start your first game viewing which will take you up to Mzima Springs, where hippos and crocodile are residents. You'll enjoy the landscape on your walk with rangers to see hippos and crocodiles which can be easily watched from a specially built underwater viewpoint. You'll then proceed further with game drive en route to Severin Safari Camp, arriving in time for lunch.

Severin Camp offers good sceneries and from the camp, clients have high chances of seeing the Kilimanjaro in good weather. After lunch and an afternoon break, you'll get back to evening game drive through the acacia forests and the volcanic mountains, look out for giraffes, elephants, baboons and other different species of animals. Dinner and overnight at Severin Safari Camp.

Day 8: Tsavo East National Park - Ashnil Aruba Lodge

After an early morning game drive in Tsavo West National Park, you will come back for breakfast then drive to Tsavo East National Park, home of the “red elephants”. You'll enter the park and make a game drive en route as you drive to the lodge arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, you will have some time to relax then go on another game drive in the afternoon. As the sun is going down, you'll return to Ashnil Aruba Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Tsavo East - Coast

You will make an early morning game drives to explore the park further after which you will be back for breakfast. You'll go on another safari after breakfast on your way to the gate. Look out for the animals you missed to see in the previous game viewing, check out of the park, and have your lunch at a restaurant outside the gate of the park. Afterwards, you'll drive to a coastal hotel or your next connection flight back home.
