Accommodation

During this trip, you will stay in a double room at various accommodations in Kenya. On your first night, you will stay at Sentrim Tarhi Camp. Your second night will be spent at Amboseli Sentrim Camp. On the last night, you will be accommodated at Lion Bluff Lodge.

Sentrim Tarhi Eco Camp

Sentrim Tarhi Eco Camp is located at Tsavo East National Park in Kenya. The 20 tents and five cottages have a modern en-suite bathroom, hot and cold showers, writing desk, and an elevated private balcony for spectacular views of the sunsets and the hills, which have abundant wildlife. Sentrim Tsavo Safari Camp has two dining areas, two campfires, and the "chui" (leopard) bar that are naturally surrounded by Boskia trees and other wild growing vegetation. The safari camp serves local and international food on charcoal or gas fires. Besides an efficient wastewater disposal management, the camp also conducts energy and water saving measures.

Amboseli Sentrim Camp

Sentrim Amboseli is located on the border of Amboseli National Park, right next to the Kimana gate. The entirely new 60 luxurious and comfortable deluxe tents are evenly spread out with fantastic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The main guest area consists of the reception, lounge area, restaurant, bar lounge, and gift shop. The spacious tents boast the very latest in luxury camping with soft beds and an ensuite bathroom with a steaming hot shower. The main dining room has a sitting capacity of 120, but meals can also be enjoyed at your private veranda.

As a part of the community social responsibility, the camp usually allocates part of its profits for the use of advancement of education in the school system. Since the inception of free primary education in Kenya, the public schools have been overwhelmed with the high turnout of children to schools. This, in turn, has led to teachers struggling to cope with the many children. Thus, in turn, the quality of education is compromised.

This feels more so at the primary level. At this end, Destinations Services Limited decided to help in improving the quality of education in the schools. Every year they identify the schools that they are to assist either in the urban areas or rural areas. This they do by helping the schools in building classrooms, buying stationery, and books that are needed in the public schools.
