Jambo Mara Safari Lodge (2 nights)

The lodge is located at the heart of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in a jungle surrounded by two streams, which are also two of the important water sources of the Maasai Mara National Reserve.

The lodge boasts 108 cottages (50 wooden cottage cabins, 55 deluxe glass cottages, two business suites, and one presidential suite), each of which enjoys a spacious ensuite bathroom equipped with showers, handwash basins, flush toilets, and a private terrace where you can relax and let the time pass by with impressions you've collected during an eventful day on safari.

All rooms have a separate balcony with views. Jambo Mara Safari Lodge also provides 24-hour electricity, 24-hour flow of hot water, and clean water that meets WHO standards.

Program

Explore Masai Mara and see the yearly wildebeest migration with Benicia Africa Adventure And Safaris, a registered tour and safari company based in Nairobi, Kenya. Meet their enthusiastic drivers and guides who are well-conversant with the geography and local language spoken in the country.

The type of vehicle that will be used is a modified tour van that is properly maintained, reliable, and suitable for safari. This will make you feel relaxed throughout your holiday.

Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara National Reserve

Pick up from your place of stay and head southward to the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley for a brief stopover to view the escarpment. Continue to Narok, a small Masai town for lunch. Proceed to Masai Mara then check in to your camp for a brief refreshment, followed by an evening game drive.

Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve full day

Enjoy an early morning breakfast, and then depart to Mara to have a hot air balloon experience.

Return to the camp for the main breakfast. A full day will be spent game viewing across the rich, tree-studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-maned lions, leopards, and cheetahs, but also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya.

Lunch will be served at the park by the Mara River, the border of Kenya and Tanzania, and the scene for yearly wildebeest and zebra migration. Then, continue with your game drive, covering the park into sections, and return to your place of stay for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

On this day, you can have an optional Masai village visit. Return to the camp / lodge for a late breakfast and then leave for lunch in Narok, going to Nairobi where the safari ends. With lunch en route, you will arrive in the late evening and be dropped off at your place of stay or at the airport.

Location

This safari will take you from Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve, which is Kenya's finest wildlife reserve. Everything about it is outstanding. The wildlife is abundant and the gentle rolling grasslands ensure that animals are never out of sight.

Masai Mara National Park is known as one of the finest wildlife destinations in the world. There is an excellent chance of seeing the Africa Big Five, cheetah, serval, hyena, bat-eared foxes, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboons, warthog, topi, and eland.

You can also spot Thompson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, impalas, water bucks, oribi, reed-buck, and zebra on this Masai Mara trip. With superb plains scenery and unmatched safari activities, Masai Mara National Park is considered as Kenya’s best park.

While on safari, you will be served daily meals. At the camp, different kinds of food will be offered. East Africa offers an impressive range of foods and drinks to suit all visitors' needs - from vegetarian diets to full-course meals.
