In this safari, you will be provided with one night of accommodation at WCK Guest house. All of the rooms provide ensuite bathrooms with hot and cold shower as well as toilet facilities.
Program
Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park
You will be picked up from your area and leave Nairobi for Lake Nakuru,arriving in time for lunch . After lunch, you will proceed with an evening game drive. Later in the park, you will see that the rising water levels force the park's famous flamingos to flee but water levels are prone to fluctuation and depending on the time of your visit, so they may be back in residence. You can also expect to see both black and white rhinos. if you look past the hordes baboons, you'll see hippos or perhaps a lucky leopard or two. There are also about 50 rare tree-climbing lions in the park, spotted several times per week.
The usual zebras, buffaloes, and Rothschild's giraffes also seal the deal. The forested area below Flamingo Hill is a favorite lion-spotting point . It's here that you should look up, not down as you are used to in other parks. The lionesses love to sleep in these trees. Leopards are frequently seen in the same area and are also seen around Makalia Camp. The caves beneath Lion Hill in the park's northeast once served as a de facto lion cub nursery. These days, they are more commonly frequented by snakes. Pythons lurk in the cool, forested areas early in the mornings. Furthermore, the dinner and overnight will be at WCK Guest House.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru National Park to Nairobi
On this day, you will have an early game drive to search for game and return to the guest house for breakfast . After breakfast, you will leave Lake Nakuru National Park for Nairobi where the safari will end.
Note: Your transport will be on Bencia Africa Adventure and Safaris' customized seven-seater safari vehicle with specially modified suspension, full-length photographic roof hatches, and seats designed with seatbelts.
Location
This safari will be held in the Rift Valley part of Kenya, Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru National Park is just two hours' drive from Nairobi and it is among Kenya’s finest national parks. Flanked by rocky escarpments, pockets of forest, and at least one waterfall, the park is pretty all year-round.
Food
During the safari, you will be served daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At the camp, different kinds of food are offered. East Africa offers an impressive range of foods and drinks to suit all visitors’ needs from vegetarian diets to full-course meals. A traveler is almost guaranteed to find a mouth-watering buffet with a wide variety of meats to fresh salads and drinks. The food is relatively safe to try which caters for international tourists. Soft drinks and alcohol are also readily available, cheap, and safe to drink. One liter of mineral water will be provided per day.
