Fisherman's Camp
A beautiful eco camp on the shores of Lake Naivasha, Kenya.
In this safari, you will be provided with one night of accommodation at Fisherman's Camp. All of the rooms provide ensuite bathrooms with hot and cold shower as well as toilet facilities.
Program
Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Naivasha boat ride
You will depart from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha which will be a 2-3-hour drive. Arrive in time for lunch, check in to the camp and then prepare for your afternoon boat ride. As you all know, Lake Naivasha is rich with wildlife around the park. Most of the time, Lake Naivasha safari is made for the bird watching people, but also there is plenty of wildlife in the park. There are around 400 species of birds around the park including the pink flamingos, kingfisher and others. The lake is also famously known for the crowded hippos in the water lake, which are more than 400 hippos in the lake.
Day 2: Hell's Gate National Park - Nairobi
On this day, wake up very early in the morning, have morning breakfast then depart for Hell's Gate National Reserve where you will start your game drive by either cycling (extra cost) or vehicle game drive. Hell's Gate National Park is one of the ideal places to spend a day. There are spectacular views around the park which make it unique. It is also home to plenty of wildlife like the giraffes, zebras, buffalos, antelopes, baboons, hyenas and Thomson’s gazelles. Later in the day, have lunch then prepare to depart for Nairobi where you will be transferred to the airport/hotel.
Location
This safari will be held in the Rift Valley part of Kenya. Lake Naivasha is just two hours' drive from Nairobi and it is among Kenya’s finest national parks. Flanked by rocky escarpments.
Food
During the safari, you will be served daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At the camp, different kinds of food are offered. East Africa offers an impressive range of foods and drinks to suit all visitors’ needs from vegetarian diets to full-course meals. A traveler is almost guaranteed to find a mouth-watering buffet with a wide variety of meats to fresh salads and drinks. The food is relatively safe to try which caters for international tourists. Soft drinks and alcohol are also readily available, cheap, and safe to drink. One liter of mineral water will be provided per day.
