Program
Day 1: Nairobi
Today, you'll get a pre-activity accommodation in Nairobi for one night.
Day 2: Nairobi - Samburu National Park
After breakfast, leave your hotel and drive northwards while admiring the atmosphere of these different areas from a distance Ol Donyo Sabuk, Mount Kenya, and Buffalo Springs National Reserve, hence arriving in Samburu National Park in time for lunch at the camp or following an afternoon game drive in the park. Your dinner and overnight will be at Samburu Game Lodge or similar.
Day 3: Samburu National Park
Take your breakfast and leave for this unique park where you will see the gravy zebra, reticulated giraffe, and beisa oryx. This is the only park where you are able to see all these named animals which are so rare in Kenya. You will break for lunch at the camp, due to the temperature which is hot in the area, you will have some rest then proceed for the late afternoon game drive, back to the Samburu Game Lodge for dinner and overnight or similar.
Day 4: Samburu National Park - Aberdare National Park
After breakfast, depart for Aberdare National Park where your arrival will be at noon, and your lunch will be at Ark. This park has its uniqueness too, bongo antelopes are the only antelopes in the entire park, the park is also known for its unique vegetation. Dinner and overnight at The Ark Lodge or similar.
Day 5: Aberdare National Park - Sweetwaters Game Reserve
After breakfast, you'll depart for Sweetwaters Game Reserve in time for lunch at the Ark or similar. In this reserve, you will be able to see chimpanzees, buffalos, and lions. Proceed to the afternoon game drive at Ewaso Ng'iro river which is known for its boat ride. You'll back to Comfort Gardens Sweetwaters for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Sweetwater’s - Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, set off for Lake Nakuru as you admire the beautiful unique vegetation of the park and have photos as per your wish. You will arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for lunch which will be at the camp. You'll then proceed to the evening game drive in the park. Your dinner and overnight will be at Eagle Palace Hotel Nakuru or similar.
Day 7: Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you'll depart Lake Nakuru for Maasai Mara through Narok town where you will have lunch. After lunch, you'll proceed to Maasai Mara arriving by afternoon, checking in at your camp, and then proceeding for an afternoon game drive through the park in search of the lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, and other members of the Big five plus other animals. Your dinner and overnight at the Ol Moran Tented Camp Maasai Mara or similar.
Day 8: Maasai Mara National Reserve
After the main breakfast at 7:30 a.m., you'll depart the camp for a full day of game viewing in the great park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the zebra, millions of wildebeest, giraffes, hippo, and the dangerous crocodiles with a visit to Mara River.
Your lunch to be served at Mara River with hippos and crocodiles and millions of wildebeest. You'll be back at the camp at 5:30 p.m. The optional activity taken past this time is a visit to the Masai Village. Your meals and overnight at the Ol Moran Tented Camp Maasai Mara or similar.
Day 9: Maasai Mara National Reserve - Lake Naivasha
After breakfast at 6:30 p.m., embark on an early game drive looking for predators hunting like lions, leopards, and cheetahs in the Mara until 09:00. After that, you'll be back for a full breakfast then check out from the camp to Lake Naivasha arriving by afternoon. The lake is famous for its boat ride and it is the only freshwater lake among the rift valley lakes in Kenya.
Your arrival will be in time for lunch which will be at the camp or similar, then proceed for an afternoon boat riding at the lake. Your dinner and overnight will be at Sweet Lake Resort or similar.
Day 10: Lake Naivasha - Amboseli National Park
Depart after your breakfast for Hell’s Gate National Park for the wonders of Kenya as you pass by Lake Naivasha to bid bye to the hippos, then continue towards Amboseli with lunch en-route arriving in Amboseli National Park. You'll check in to your Kibo Safari Camp. You'll then proceed to the afternoon game drive. Your dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
Day 11: Amboseli National Park
After morning breakfast, you'll proceed for your full-day game drive with a picnic lunch served in the park. In the afternoon, there will be an optional visit to a Maasai village for traditional dances. Your dinner and overnight will be at Kibo Safari Camp or similar.
Day 12: Amboseli National Park - Nairobi
After breakfast, you'll leave the campsite for the last game drive as you leave the park for Nairobi. Picnic lunch will be served en route. You'll arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon.
